Roar and crash of the surf were heard. The sun began hiding once again, a round moon started to rise. Another night has begun. Sounds of boats honking were witnessed. The boat reduced its speed. While the boat was slowly rowing, a beautiful song was caught by the seamen. A woman's singing voice was echoing in their ears, enough to make people sleep. On a nearby island, there was a half-naked woman that seems to be covered with bird's fur.
"Teharissa! What are you doing!", a wing-flapping was heard.
"What do you think I'm doing Saeldis? I am just letting these humans sleep.", Teharissa answered.
"Didn't Leucosia tell you to not get involved with humans!", Saeldis shouted at the woman.
"That was a long time ago Saeldis, humans don't even recall us anymore. Don't you think it's time to let them know about us, once again?", Teharissa looked at Saeldis with a stiff expression, the light of the moon shone right through Teharissa and her body was seen. Her upper body was that of a female human and the other half was that of a raven's, her hands were wings.
"Even so, Teharissa, we had promised our family to never get involved with them.", Saeldis looked at the other with a worried expression.
A moment of silence began, after, the raven began speaking again,
"I am not part of that family Saeldis. I am not a mermaid; I am a siren. I am the opposite of you."
"Teharissa...", Saeldis bowed her head down in defeat, what Teharissa said was right we were different from one another. She bought negativities, I bought positivities. But why is that? We both bring disasters to humans.
