The next thing I knew, or rather what I could sense next was that we were laying in hospital beds. Bella on one side of me and Jake on the other. I could also sense that somewhere in the room Edward was there asleep, waiting for us to wake up. And me wondering if he really was.

Because Jake was better off then either myself or Bella, he was first to gain back consciousness. The dads were both downstairs. Mom was in the room, sweeping Bella's hair to the side, watching her. Then she glanced at me. T: That's impossible that pale skin, those skin colored lips, the long brown hair, and if she were awake right now then brown possibly still eyes. She's probably now the same age as the others, and if this is who I think it is, since they're twins they would be anyways.

No, I can't know for sure. She whispered. She turned to the window seat in the room, seeing Edward's peaceful sleeping face, probably also wondering what I had been. T: At least she ended up with my sister. Suddenly there are footsteps, and then Esme is in the room. Before she comes to sit down she goes to Edward, and sweeps back his hair kissing his forehead. Are you awake?

She asks him. Mm.... He groans. I am now, he says letting out a yawn. She's not even conscious how is she doing that? Jacob? Are you awake. Sh, sh let him sleep sweetie. She comes over to the beds. And sits down between Jake and I, sweeping back my hair kissing my forehead. Hello sister. She says to Renee. I see you've got another one. Our mom says to her.

I suppose you've already noticed who she is? But, I could never put her in more danger than she has been already. She says reaching over to take my hand in hers. Just when we got her to stop being in pain, and to trust us and James pulls her back in. Esme says with tears glistening in her eyes.

It's alright Mrs.... I mean Esme Jacob groans out. I'm awake. Can I get out of this bed now though? No, I'm sorry sweetie but doctor's orders. You're father is downstairs with Charlie, would you like me to send him up? Not until you said Charlie up, my dad can wait, I bet Sam came with him too. He's gonna say I told you so. He says rolling his eyes. Yeah he probably will. Edward tells him.

But babe your dad won't care, he'll just care that you're alive and awake Esme tells him squeezing his hand gently. And I'm glad of that too, as will the girls. You've been a big help to us. We love you like family. I know. He says groggily. He grabs my hand. Are they gonna be ok? Because of you boys yes, they'll both be fine. Thank you Jacob.

Don't thank me, their also in this mess because of me. Don't take all the credit Edward teases. It's not your fault, your protected them when I couldn't, none of this is your fault, its all mine, and I dragged each and everyone of you into this. Mom is she gonna fear us again after all this? No baby, Jade will be fine. She reassures him. As will Bella. She's one of the strongest people I know.

Yeah, you could say that. He shrugs. I'm not just talking power wise sweetheart, she lived with Aro for all those years, got bounced around from foster home to foster home, taken from her birth family, ending back up with vampires. Being silent most of her time while being with us. Hoping never to go back to him again. You couldn't be more right mom.

Did he just.... Renee asks. A deal he and his sister made. Bella begins to stir awake. The first thing she wonders after seeing that Edward is right there, she wonders where I am. Where's Jade? T: Is ok now after all this for her to know the truth? ET: I suppose. She already knows about our family of course, or we probably wouldn't even be in this mess. Mom, uh what happened? She asks.

He sits up in the bed. How are you feeling? I should be asking you that. I'm fine. I remember a fire, and running away from James, the trap he set for us. You lost a lot of blood, James told you to go alone, but against all 3 of your wishes, and because of a promise to protect to you girls that Jacob went after you. James of course didn't like that.
