Irene tore away her gaze to you and looks up to her bear looking friend who sat beside her on the bleachers.

"I'm not staring at her."

Seulgi snickered a laugh and look at her older friend in amusement, shoving her hands inside the pocket of her hoodie. "Don't deny it. You're already caught in 4k."

Irene just roll her eyes and darted her eyes on the wide field while you are running with your bestfriends and Chaeyoung. Laughs and countless bickerings are what she's hearing while watching you four race on the track.

"You know you're getting different each day." Seulgi muttered making the older girl look at her confusedly. "Is that a compliment or what?" she asked

The bear looking girl turn to look at her in the eyes and chuckle. "I don't know. 50/50?" Irene glares at her. "What I mean is, you're getting different each day and I'm starting to wonder about this.." Seulgi faced her and placed a hand under her chin, looking at her older friend intently. Eyes are darting toward her suspiciously.

"..Do you like Y/n?" she questioned

Irene automatically chockes in the air and look at her friend offendedly. "What the hell is that question? Where did you even get that?" she asked while her eyebrows are knitting together, heart is beating rapidly.

Seulgi's eyes turn into crescent as she beam a wide smile. "Wae? It's a normal question, what do you mean?" she tilts her head questionably before glancing below the field, watching you now playing soccer with Chaeyoung and Tzuyu.

"What makes you think of that? I don't like her. I'm not even friends with her." Irene was able to answer while keeping her cool on the outside.

"Why? Can't we like someone that we're not friends with? And to hell with that. Do you think Y/n and you are still not friends after all those past few weeks that we've been spending time with her or them together?" Seulgi raise a brow to Irene who just scoff and look away. "As far as you know, I sometimes caught you with Y/n." she wiggle her eyebrows with a teasing grin.

That caught Irene offguard. She look at Seulgi who's also staring at her with a teasing face while she felt suddenly hot on her cheeks.

"W-what are you saying?" she look away and bit her lip, trying to hide away her blushing face.

Seulgi stare at her for a moment before chuckling. "It's just.. I remember what you said to us just the first day of classes. You said not to get involve with them."

"And?"

Seulgi let out a sigh and look up to the bright sky. "You're the one who said that to us but here you are, always caught with them especially Y/n." she display a smile and raise a brow to the older. "Don't you think I didn't see that?"

Irene was taken aback. She look back nervously at the girl but she try to keep her cool. "See what?"

"Hmm.. I just witnessed what you did to Stephanie after you saw her pour some alcohol on Y/n's head." She chuckle. "Actually, I'm ready to slap that bitch on her face but I saw you on the other side standing and I'm really surprised that you quickly left and came back furiously with a bottle of alcohol that is triple the size of what Lee used."

The older girl was speechless. She don't know what to respond to that after being caught by her bestfriend. So she awkwardly cleared her throat and look away.
