Naruto: The overlord

Prologue 1: A strange last day

DMMORPG a term he's come to be intimately aware off, and rather enjoyed hearing about. This joy increased when the term came to the game YGGDRASIL a game that emphasised player freedom with a wide range of players races, worlds, items and more. Now that game he enjoyed was about to come to an end, that through wasn't reflected in the mood around an immaculate room with a large white table.

3 people sat, or creatures. One was an Overlord the highest form of undead mage, skilled in instant death spells, buffs and debuffs and other curse and dark based magic. The being or more like a skeleton in appearance with gleaming red dots of fire as eyes and an aura of darkness around it. He was dressed in an immaculate gaudy robes. Dark purple and black in colour. Momonga was in game name.

2 chairs to his right was a purple ever-shifting ooze, purple in colour. Hero hero was the name of the slime.

Then opposite to the Overlord was himself, Uzumaki Naruto both in and out of reality. A Phantom, or dark Seraph the highest form of fallen angel. He was humanoid in appearance, although what detracted to the appearance was the horns on his head forming a deathly looking crown, a mark of his authority and power. With slightly tanned skin and plum red eyes that shinned dangerously with a myriad of other colours. His hair a deepest gold was littered with what could be considered stardust as it showed the brightness a nebula.

He was dressed in ebony armour sleek and simple but boasting stats equal to gold class items, and since he had the entire set on including the white cape that was around his shoulders with gold edging, and since the armour was short sleeved it gave way to his arms with possessed 10 rings or armbands running along his arms 5 on each side. This entire set completed the dark arcane-knight series, and amped it's stats to near world level. Amplifying both his physical and magical stats.

Naruto, Momonga and Hero-hero laughed, having recounted tales of their adventures when the guild still had 41 members, and the fun they had. It was nostalgic, even sad, but the three didn't want to recount on that.

Hero-hero seemed to yawn although that was not displayed in his character. "Man I'm tired, I really need some sleep. Sorry guys but I need to be heading off to bed." spoke the ooze as his hand moved to the air, while not seen by the two they did know he was using his console to log off the game. "Good work on taking care of everything though. I'm happy to know that you guys kept everything running great." said Hero-hero and with those final words logged off the game.

Naruto sighed and looked to his friend, "So Momonga, how is everything at work. I hear you got a promotion." asked Naruto and the Overlord nodded.

"Yeah, I'm suppose to be checking in at 1 so I have no choice but to get ready, sorry man I really really wanted to be with ya till the end but, you know how things are." said Momonga the pain and sadness in his voice was real and Naruto could feel it.

"Yeah I understand, we'll hang tomorrow after I get off work alright." said Naruto and Momonga sent a thumbs up before he too logged off.

Naruto sighed, then looked at his dark clawed hand, before standing. "Too bad, another world I like is about to disappear on me." muttered Naruto. This was a truth Naruto has never and will most likely never tell anyone, the truth that he was a reincarnation, someone's who's been report nigh countless times, and each time he'd watch the world around him grow change and die off. A curse of his, this is the cause the result of having a large amount of chakra, so much so that his soul could withstand the painful mind numbing process of rebirth. While he was never very attached to one particular place or another, he's grown quite fond of the virtual world of YGGDRASIL.
