It's Sunday evening, I and Dove just got into our apartment. No, I haven't spoken to Mateo by any means. Not even a goodbye.
First, I didn't know what to say. What could I possibly say? 'Oh sorry I fell asleep'- it's like he hasn't figured that out himself. Second, Dove. She'd kill me if she said me speaking to me. I'm convinced.
"I'm going to shower, find a movie in the meantime," dove said and I nodded. I'm not in a mood to watch a movie right now, all I want is to lay in my bed and sleep. But I gave in.
I went to the kitchen to grab popcorn and some soda cans, heading back to the living room and turning on the TV. I scrolled through Netflix, not finding anything I haven't already watched. I've been avoiding this one show for a long time now, though. It's called 'stranger things'. I do think Dove already wanted it, but I want to watch it now so.
I looked over to a bowl full of popcorn in it. How does Mateo do it? It looks so impressive, yet so hard to do. I took one popcorn in my hand and threw it in the air. It fell on the floor. I took another, it fell right on my forehead.
"If I make this one, I should talk to Mateo tomorrow in school," I said silently, not wanting to dove to hear me.
I closed my eyes, thinking about how there is no chance in the world for me to make this right now. I rolled the popcorn in my hand and then I threw it. Not too high and not too low. Although I don't really know because my eyes were closed. I tilted my head back with my mouth open, waiting for the popcorn to unlikely land in my mouth.
After some seconds I felt something that felt like popcorn in my mouth. Except it was actually popcorn. I quickly opened my eyes looking around to check that no one was fooling with me.
I did it.
What does this mean?
I'm not talking to him. I'm not obsessed with some guy. If he wants me he should be the one talking to me. But on the other hand, I'm the one that screwed up.
"What are we watching?" Dove asked while she was putting a t-shirt on.
"Stranger things,"
"I watched that like 7 times, get us something we both haven't seen.." Dove said looking at me like a homeless puppy.
"Ugh, its so boring. Can we do something else?" I tossed the TV controller to her while making my way to the bathroom. This time I really do have to pee.

Mateo
Sunday came and it was time for me to go to a party. I don't want to think about a girl that is too good for me plus she is my sister's best friend.
I get into the shower and get ready really fast. I put on some basic Calvin Klein boxers, then I put on a casual black button-up, leaving the top two buttons open, just enough for my chest tattoos to be visible, rolling the sleeves up to my elbows, then I put on some grey - almost black - jeans, that go all the way down to my feet. On the bottom, I have white Mike AirForce1, because those are really the most comfortable shoes ever. I look at myself in the mirror for couple more minutes before going back to the bathroom and grabbing my toothbrush to brush my teeth. I make my hair just the way I love it the most. Every hair is going in its own direction but it still looks good. I plump up from my forehead a little bit and then I take some hairspray just enough for it to stay that way for the whole night.
I go to my bedroom to grab my phone and call my best friend.
"Hey, wanna get drunk?" I asked Martin while I was making myself a sandwich to eat before I get drunk, with or without him.
