It was next week now.  The last Friday of switching was coming up. It was Wednesday, Jk and Jimin had a scheduled hangout before Jimin went to go practice for Ballet. Jk was determined to tell Jimin about his mother, he wanted to prove to himself that Jimin was just another friend.

The boys met at the coffee shop. Jk got off his motorcycle and walked over to the blond drinking an americano. Jk smiled brightly as Jimin looked up. "You ready for today."

Jimin looked at Jk dazed. Since not too long ago he found out he was whipped by this ravenette he couldn't keep his mind straight every time he saw him. Or in their case was him. When they switched last week Jimin just stared at himself- Jk- in the mirror before leaving for classes that morning. Yes it was a little weird even for Jimin but he couldn't help himself.

"Ready for what?"

Jimin stood there looking up at the ravenette now grabbing his hand and leading the blond to his motorcycle. "I'm going to teach you how to ride my bike!"

Jimin released himself from Jungkook's grasp. Motorcycles scared him, sometimes judging how fast Jk drove the last time they were on it together. The blonde shook his head. "No, no way. No thank you I mean but ya."

Jk frowned and tugged on Jimin's sleeve. "Oh come on. It won't be that bad I promise." He proceeded to pat the back of the motorcycle. Jungkook needed some distraction so he could tell Jimin about his mother, so he wouldn't feel that bad and hopefully not get all of it. On the other hand, Jimin couldn't disobey Jungkook's doe eyes as he patted the leather behind him. Right then and there, The blonde fell right into the raveonettes trap. They rode off to an empty street, one that no one really drives on.

"Alright safety first.." Jk jumped off the bike and slid a  helmet onto Jimin's head. "Now this is the gear, the ignition, brakes,.." he went on pointing to everything he had to describe. Jimin was half listening and half watching Jks every move. You could tell Jungkook had a passion for vehicles and especially his bike. He wouldn't just let anyone ride it, they had to be special to Jk.

Jimin finally came out of his day dreaming. "Alright I got it." Jk stopped explaining and stepped back, "Do you now. Then go ahead and drive a little. " A smirk followed onto Jk's face as Jimin stared at the bike. He wanted to get this over sooner than Jk did.

The blond held the breaks and turned the motorcycle on. He then put his matte black boot on the sides and thrusted the gas. At first Jimin wobbled but slowly gained his balance: also speed. Sooner or later Jimin was going 35 down the road and rose to 60.  The blond's eyes grew wide as the motorcycle picked up the pace and he hurried to let go of the gas and hold the brakes. He came to a screeching stop and pants followed as he put his feet down.

Jk wasn't far behind since he was already running after the smaller when he saw him wobbling. "Jimin! You can't go that fast on your first try." Jimin whipped his face with a big smile toward the taller. "I actually did it! I rode a motorcycle!" The blond had a little sparkle in his eyes. Jk found it cute but then shook it off. The taller one helped Jimin off of the bike and put the kickstand up for a while. As Jungkook took off Jimin's helmet he said softly, "Good Job, but I need to tell you something.  Jimin looked at Jk once more, making eye contact with his sparkled eyes. "What is it?"

Jk winced inside. How could he be such a terrible person telling Jimin about his mother. IT will totally kill Jimin's mood and make the sparkle perish in his little chocolate nebulas. Jk sighed and pulled Jimin down to sit against the brick abandoned building. "It's actually something I forgot to tell you earlier. About  my past."  Jimin's smile grew smaller. Did jk feel pressured to tell him this? No, no, of course not. Jimin did what he could do best. The blond adjusted himself to a comfortable seating position toward Jk all ready to listen. "Okay . No pressure though."

Jk sighed and avoided eye contact, "You know how I told you my father divorced my mother and all of that." Jimin nodded. "Well When I got to the doorstep the door was wide open. I thought she maybe just got home but instead she was lying on the ground. Her beautiful black hair was bathed in crimson, the drug needles scattered everywhere, a broken wine bottle layed next to her as another beer bottle scattered the hallway." Jungkook stopped for a minute and screwed his eyes tight as the horrible scene came to his mind.

-flashback-

"Mom? Mom!" Jk dropped to his knees on the wooden floor and crawled over to his mother. He held her lifeless body in his arms as tears began to surface his eyes. She looked like she'd been dead for days. The blood was dry in her hair even though the crimson substance still was a puddle around them. Jungkook saw the injection holes all over her body. He sat there and cried. He finally let it all out.

"So I see you got tired of this world...it's not your fault mama someone did this to you. I'm so sorry....." Jk laid his head gently on the corpse, "I wish I could have been a better kid, maybe you and father wouldn't have fought, maybe you wouldn't be dead if it wasn't for me. I'm sorry mom. You were the only one who really cared." The ravenette was left in this unforgiving world with no one who loved him, and he knew that. Jungkook knew his mother was the last to ever love him but she was gone now. He doesn't have someone to lean on when he is hurt anymore. Jungkook whispered an 'i love you' before he heard the cop cars outside.

-end of flashback-

Jimin sat beside the horrified one in shock. Jungkook has really been through it, no person should see that scene ever in their life. Especially if it's their own parent.

Jungkook talked in a low tone. His eyes began to dilate into nothingness as he kept going. "I knew she was dead, I knew someone killed her, but I called the cops anyway."

Jungkook took a deep sigh. Jimin had tears falling from his eyes now, but Jk just kept going. "I almost died that night. I almost jumped off a bridge, I almost ended it all. But I knew I couldn't do it. My mother would have wanted me alive instead of dead with her, I knew she wanted me to keep fighting and I am. " Jungkook wiped his runny nose with his sleeve and then turned his back to Jimin. He then lifted up his shirt to reveal cigarette burn marks. They were faint but you could see how they were forcefully pushed against the pale looking skin of Jungkook's back.

"This is what I was left with from her. From when I was in middle school she used her own child as her ashtray. Yet I still loved her, Wanted to keep her happy all the time. She was the only one who accepted me anyway." Before he could say anything Jimin wrapped his arms around Jungkook's torso.

"Jungkook I'm so sorry you had to deal with that and still go on all these years. You're truly strong and.." Jimin hesitated. "I'll be here if you need anyone I promise." Jimin really wanted to say 'I'll stay by your side forever and be your shoulder to cry on' but he didn't want to put more things on Jk's shoulder to deal with.

Jungkook slightly smiled, he knew Jimin was going to say that. That's the type of person he is. "Jimin you can let go, It's been years and I know how to deal with it. I just had to tell you about it since I told you everything else." Jungkook wiggled out of the blonde's grasp and got up. He dusted himself off and wiped his tears. Then he held out his hands for Jimin to take into his own.  Yet the blonde did. He stood up and sniffled a few times. Jungkook wiped the boy's tear marks and smiled at him. "Thank you for caring really. You're a very nice person for not running away and crying with me. Now don't worry about it, I'll take you home."

Jimin wanted to just hug Jungkook and never let go and kiss him so he felt warmth and true love, but he couldn't. It wasn't the right place nor did Jimin know if Jungkook liked him back or not. So Jimin accepted his fate and got onto the motorcycle with Jk.

Not long after, Jimin and Jungkook's time was up. They were at Jimin's apartment sooner than he thought and he hopped off the bike. Before the smaller could walk into his building he ran to Jungkook and gave him a hug one last time. It would make both of them feel a little better from what just happened.  Jimin restrained himself from kissing Jungkook's cheek as he pulled away and he rushed into his building.

The blond disappeared from Jungkook's sight and for a brief moment made Jungkook want to rush into the building that took Jimin away from him, and hug the smaller forever.  Yet Jungkook sadly didn't think much of it. He sniffled one last time before going on his long drive home through the misty night.
