Smack! Slap! Hit after hit I take from Crowley and his demons. It hurts so much, but everyday I heal! How does this happen?! It has to be the magic of Hell. I can't escape. How long have I been here? A year? Months? Could it even just be minutes? Reality has shifted to this now. I'm going mad!
The next time I wake up, I awake to screaming. That's not uncommon here, but this is a different kind of scream. This isn't the scream of a tortured soul. No, someone is dying. In Hell? How can someone die in an afterlife?
I get to my feet and move towards my cell door. I pull my short self up close with the bars on the cell door. I peer through and I don't see anything. In the corner of my eye I could have sworn I saw wings. Demons don't have wings though. I keep looking anyway until something or someone comes close to my cell and scares me. I jump to the back of my cell and prepare for my daily dose of pain.
I hear it shake the door. It won't open? My curiosity gets to me and I turn and face the door. I see a familiar face and I start to run to the door. With a grin on my face, I pull my body close to the door and say, "Cas? Castiel, is that you?!"
His head jerks up from him trying to jimmy the door open. "Myra! Yes, it's me. I'm here to rescue you." He puts a hand through the bars and puts it on my face. I lean into his touch and close my eyes and enjoy a hand caressing me instead of hitting me for once. And it's Cas. I missed him! He came to save me!
I can tell that he is getting angry that he can't get the door open. He moves back from the door a bit and then looks at me. "Go to the far corner Myra. I don't want to hurt you!" I do as he says and I turn and cover my face but I leave enough uncovered to see what he is doing. He starts to flap his wings and fly a bit off of the ground. I hear a ringing sound, very high pitched and it hurts my ears. Then he starts to glow, I've seen it happen once before. His eyes and essence starts to glow a blueish-white. Then I hear a blast and a crash. Something hits me and it stings. I touch my shoulder with my hand and I'm bleeding. I stand up and see Cas entering the cell. The door is down! I look around the room and I see so much debris around me and I see bits and pieces in my legs, arms, and face. But I don't care. I'm about to be free!
Cas walks up to me and inspects me. "I'm sorry. I just had to...", he starts to say but I cut him off. "It's okay, just get me out of here." I grab his hand. "Lead the way!" He nods his head and we start running hand in hand through Hell. We don't encounter too many demons on our way out, which is suspicious and out of character for them. I pull on Cas and make us stop dead in our tracks.
There are so many of them. A huge group of demons with hell hounds in front. Growling and gnashing their teeth at us. Cas stands in front of me but I still manage to look around him. In the middle of the hoard of demons, they begin to split down the middle and a figure walks up the passage that has been made. Its Crowley...
"Aww, daddy's boy is a little far from the nest. Here to fetch my puppy I see?" He says it in a way to entice Castiel into making a brash move. It almost works, I feel his arm flinch as if to attack.
"Cas", I whisper, "Don't do it. We will find a different way, there's too many of them for you to fight yourself." He nods, acknowledging what I had said.
"Find yourself a new puppy , Crowley", Castiel says in a very stern way.
No sooner had Cas said it did Crowley sick his army on us. Cas swings around and pulls me close to his chest. "Hold on"
We begin flying over the demons and hell hounds. We fly for what seems like 15 minutes and we are at a gate. A hell gate. Cas opens it and pushes me out the door. I fall to my hands and knees, a hand grabs my arm and pulls me up.
"Glad to see ya' again!", Dean says as he pulls me up.
I smile at Dean as I see Cas fighting off demons as he tries to close the gate. Sam runs in to help Castiel and Dean frantically draws something on the ground. I can't tell what it is, but as soon as he slams his bloody hand on it, the gate begins to close. Sam pulls Cas out of the way of the gate and he falls at my feet. I rush to the ground and hug him.
"Thank you Castiel! I missed you, I'm so glad you came to save me!", I kiss his cheek and he returns with a quick cheek peck. We stand up and I turn to the Winchesters. "Thanks", I stick out my hand for a handshake, "I'm not sure what I would have done without you guys."
"Well, we didn't want to just leave you there considering it was us who got you kidnapped in the first place", Sam said shyly.
I chuckle a bit. Cas put his hand on my shoulder, "We need to talk. But first, I need to speak to Dean" Cas puts 2 fingers on my forehead and I am back at the motel. I find a spot on the bed and lay down. It has been an eventful... however long it's been.
