It was the middle of the night, and Dream woke up sweating, panting a little bit. Was it a nightmare? He thought to himself. He looked ober next to him on the bed. Sapnap was sleeping peacefully, Dream smiled a bit. He rubbed his eyes, and stayed sitting on the bed. Had to be...cause he's still here.. Dream thought again. Dream looked back at Sapnap, just watching him. He'd smile softly again. Sapnap yawned and woke up a bit, "Dream..?" He spoke, tiredly. "Did I wake you?" Dream tilted his head off to the side a bit. "No..movement in the bed." Sapnap sat up and looked at Dream's face closely. "You okay?" "Yeah I'm uh...I'm fine...just a nightmare." Dream scratched the back of his neck. "About what?" Sapnap grabbed Dream's other hand, which was on his bed. Dream flushed pink bit held it back, "a-about you.." He looked off to the side.
"What happened?" Sapnap muttered, quiet enough for the blonde to hear. He looked at Sapnap, "Y-you uh..." he paused, hesitating to finish his sentence. "Hm?" The ravenette looked at Dream's face. "You were injured...b-badly..." Dream started tearing up a bit as Sapnap's eyes widened slowly. "A-and..I c-couldn't save you.." The tears run down Dream's face, reminiscing the nightmare. Sapnap pulled Dream and hugged him, tightly. Dream hugged back. "It wasn't real...I'm okay.." He whispered to Dream. "Let's go back to sleep okay?" Sapnap looked at Dream, wiping the years away. Dream smiled softly and nodded. They laid down. Dream held Sapnap in his arms tightly, making sure he stays safe. Even if they're in a safe home with really good security. Sapnap smiled, wrapping his arms around Dream's body and dozes off. Dream waited for him to fall asleep before planting a kiss on his forehead. He then fell asleep himself, keeping Sapnap close in his arms.

A/N: wholesome moment time cause i said so. Sorrey it was short, didn't know what else to do but nightmare moment. Btw they were watching movies when they fell asleep on the bed, well when sap fell asleep lol. Enyways-- chapter five will be out either tmrw or thursday, be patient >:)
