Zafira's POV
I walked in the school gates keeping to myself, afraid to look up after yesterday's play of humiliation. Just stay away from Carol and Harry. Keep my distance and I'll be fine. But it wasn't find, I could feel everyones eyes burning into my soul as I walked quietly to my table. I could hear people laugh at me and whisper about me as they walked past, trying to make it obvious that I was the talk of the school. Finally i arrived at my table. Liam and Serenity were already seated there talking to eachother, as I sat down next to Liam they both looked at me but continued their conversation. I just sat there with my headphones in my ears listening to my music as I played with my hands in my lap, too scared to look up.
"How are ya feeling love?" Liamrubbed my back to help me ease up a littlr, I dodn't notice how tense I was, as if I was naked infront of a crowd.
"Humiliated, sick, horrible, miserable, lazy, annoyed, mad, depressed, stupid..." I looked up at Liam and only Liam, still too afraid to look around.
"It'll be ok, runours come and go in this school, they'll get over it soon."
"That's the thing! This isn't just some rumour that is fake like the others that have been spread before! This is real information from my personal diary!! MY PERSONAL DIARY FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!!" I couldn't help it, I needed to let something out.
"Ssshhh. Relax, we'll figure a way around this! You know Carol, she stops at nothing."
He kept rubbing my back to calm me down.
I just can't, I hate her! I hate her for doing this! Why did she have to go so far with this!! I sighed and smiled at Liam thankfully.
I noticed Serenity was being awfully quiet, i glanced over at her but she wasn't looking at us, it seemed like she was looking for someone. I was just about to ask her who she was looking for but I was interupted by someone behind me.
"Uh, Zafira, I have to tell you something."
Dang it! One of the people I was trying to avoid today!! His deep, raspy voice sounded unsure but serious. I turned to face him but he was looking behind me, I turned back to Serenity who was glaring at him. When she noticed I was looking at her she quickly smiled at me and nodded. Weird...
I turned back to Harry who was still looking at Ser, but he seemed kinda scared... Why?
"Eerrm, you know what, never mind, I'll catch you later!" He quickly turned around and walked away.
I returned back to my normal position. What just happened? Why was Harry and Ser having a stare war? What's going on between them two?!
"Serrrr, what was all that about?" I stared at her intently trying to get an answer.
"Uuugh, I don't know." She said looking everywhere but at me.
"Se--" I was cut off by her jumping to her feet and rushing away from the table.
What the hell is going on?! Am I missimg something?!
"That was odd!" Liam said looking as confused at I am.
Well I'm not the only one confused! I turned around to see where Serenity was heading, she rushed in the direction Harry went, then disappeared behind a wall. I turned back to look at Liam.
"Humph." Was all I could say, i'm so confused? What is going on?
