Ranboo POV

The first thing I noticed when I woke up was how quiet it was. No squawking crows, no buzzing from the bees Tubbo kidnapped, no mobs from the forest moaning and groaning and interrupting the peace, and no distant swearing from Tommy.

The second was the warmth. Tubbo hated being too warm, meaning most nights we slept with our windows open, making it so that the room was always freezing cold.

I reached my arm out, trying to find Tubbo. And when there was nothing there, I opened my eyes and sat up quickly, looking around.

Where in XD's name was I?

I moved my legs to hang off the bed and stood, making no noise as I walked towards the window. Outside, a blank grey rock wall greeted me.

What had happened?

I remembered going through the portal with Techno, and then nothing. But where was I? Was this Techno's house?

The room was surprisingly not fancy, in fact it was quite normal, with just wooden cabin walls, a fluffy black carpet, a warm white bed with a nightstand and a large wardrobe in the corner of the room near a door. White curtains covered the windows, which would be helpful when it came to blocking light from the room, only both curtains were open, letting the light stream into the room.

On a chair next to the wardrobe, I notice a small pile of clothes. I walk towards them, picking them up and looking at them. A fancy white long sleeved white shirt with one of those ruffle collars, black pants, a purple cape with a hood, black gloves and a pair of boots. Everything seemed to have been made quite big, probably to fit me.

I change quickly, pulling the cape tight around me as I adjusted my crown and grabbed the memory book from the nightstand. Had he read the book? I wasn't sure, but I wasn't too scared. Everything from this book was in the past. I was different now. Right?

Shaking off the bad thoughts, I moved all of my armour to my inventory and then summoned my communicator. From what I could see in the chat, no one had figured out how to summon it yet. The inventory was easy enough to get, but everyone had always had troubles with the communicator.

But even though me and Techno were the only ones able to use the communicator, messages still filled the chat, dated back to 3 years ago. Maybe that was when we lost our memories, or when everything was reset. Judging from the conversation, it appeared that Dream had been threatening Tommy from prison while almost everyone else made fun of Dream.

Though there was a new message, from Techno, around 2 hours ago.

Technoblade whispered to you - When you wake up, come find me.

That was probably meant for me. I drop the communicator, watching as it disappears. That had always been a fun way to get rid of the communicator. I remember once throwing it at Tommy and then it disappeared right after it hit him, so he had nothing left to throw at me.

I pulled my cloak tighter around me and fixed my boots before opening the door slowly, cringing at the creaking of the door. Techno really had to get these oiled.

I left the room, my carpet muffling the clunks from my boots. I felt my tail go between my legs as I looked around. My room may have seemed comforting and safe, but the rest of the house gave off a scary vibe, as if someone would jump out and kill me at any time. And knowing Techno, I wouldn't doubt it.

I carefully crept through the house and then down the stairs, which put me into a fancy living room, books scattered around. A doorway revealed a fancy and clean kitchen, with a table carefully crafted near it, complete with 5 chairs. The same amount of chairs they would need for their family.
