"So did you understand?" -Ace

"Uh yeah, yep all understood."

"Alright then do you have any ideas for this event."

I feel awful for what I'm about to say but I have to be honest with her, even if I don't care about this she definitely looks like she does it's only fair if I let her know.

"Uhm so look I uh really am not good at this I'm pretty sure sister chose me because of my grades but I'll warn you now I suck at this."

"Oh I already know that." She said with a unimpressed expression.

Ouch, blunt much?

"Wait you do!?"

"Yes, I mean it was pretty obvious like I told I'm friends with all top scorers and I knew you weren't into this sort of thing the minute sister mentioned you didn't take part in activities."

"Oh, well aren't you bothered by it ?"

"A little but I'm already used to this it's kind of the downside that comes with being a nerd you know."

"You are not a nerd."

She chuckles as if what I said was amusing.
"Yeah right, I am a nerd it's the bitter truth and I am okay with it."

"You don't have to categorise yourself just because a few kids who can't manage to bring better grades than us say so."

"I don't want to talk about all this right now we are running out of time let's get some work done."

Looking at her watch she opens a register and looks at me expectantly.
I take out my notebook as well.

Time passes by and before we know it was dark outside and families were starting to come in probably for dinner.

"And I thought you said you were bad at this." -Ace

"I am bad at this you did most of the work."

"Oh shut up, you have great ideas almost too good makes me wonder why you don't participate you would win for sure and after all you are a top scorer."

"I just don't want to make that extra effort I know this reason is very lame but I'm ok with it."

"Is that so."

She looks at me questioningly as if not taking in what I said was true, well it wasn't completely true but still.

Suddenly my phone lits up, it's a timer I set up before.

"Uh looks like I have to go." - raven

"Me too it's gotten late, so where to meet tomorrow."

"Same place if you are fine with it that is."
"Sure."

With that we get out the café and head home.

Opening the door to my house I quickly rush upstairs to my room

Opening the door to my house I quickly rush upstairs to my room.

Sighing I drop my bag to the floor and flop down on my bed thinking about our 'discussion' .

This was probably the most fun I've had at any school discussion before don't get me wrong they were fun as it is but something about working with her just made it more fun her ideas were fresh and new unlike the one's I always heard.

But aside from that the way she made sarcastic comments to lift up the mood and her smile and her laugh.. and what is wrong with me!

God I'm so distracted these days I need to get a grip on myself this is an important event, we are going to be representing the whole school we can't make a single mistake.

I get up and change out of my way too extra attire, wash my face and tie my hair into a pony.

Flopping on my bed I bring out my books and get started on homework but I can't get focused so I go on my phone and start to work on the event.

Opening the door to my empty house engulfed by darkness.

I sigh and turn on the lights already used to coming back to a empty home.

"God I'm exhausted."

Streching my arms I make my way to the bathroom and get in the hot shower.

Getting into a hot shower after an exhausting day at work really is the best feeling in the world.

Feeling fresh I get dressed and look at my phone, finally getting the chance to finish my anime.

This is so not like me usually I would finish one season in a day.

I wonder why and then her face comes to my mind, oh yeah I wonder if she got home on time I think her parents are strict but what do I know which makes me further think I don't really know anything about her do I?

She said she is a nerd, there's no doubt there but the way she is respected by the board directors she feels more like a school president than a nerd.

We made quite some progress today and she even managed to explain whatever the hell was on that cursed event file.
Is this what people call a good influence?
I like the sound of it besides my life has been damned for long enough it wouldn't hurt to be a little productive and she is the perfect person for that.
