"I didn't want to annoy you!" you claim, trying to maintain the eye contact, even though your shyness was starting to take over. "You can say hi to me anytime!" he exclaimed, almost as if his sadden self never existed. You let out a relived sigh, seeing Sun so calm, continuing the conversation. The two of you spoke, laughed, joked and so on with each other, until your shift ended, making the time fly by, in the blink of an eye.
The following evening you entered the Pizza plex, now excitingly wanting to see the familiar face, quickly getting changed. You swiftly make your way towards the day care area, almost running, not able to wait any longer, to see the Sun shaped male. You arrive to the play area's giant door, sneaking a peek at the bubbly animatronic. You watch as he: gently speaks to the children, helping them when they're hurt, encouraging them to laugh and be happy and so on.
You become completely mesmerized by the robot, not even noticing the child that somehow ended up appearing next to you. "Are you a bad person?" The little rascal questioned, wondering if you were a threat to them or not. "Uh...no, I'm here to, uh..." you begin to stumble on your words, surprised by the kid's sudden curiosity, not wanting to admit how excited you were to see the tall male. "Sun! There's a weird person here!" The brat called, pointing directly at you. Your eyes widen, shocked by the little monster's declaration, as you immediately glance in the robot's direction.
Sun curiously tilts his head, approaching the area the small voice came from. "What's the matter?" He spoke sweetly, lowering himself to the child's field of vision. "She's really strange, she was standing here staring at you! And her face is all red too!" The kid exclaimed, once again pointing to you. The animatronic's eyes instantly crossed yours, as a smirk creeped up on his face. "Oh! No worries! She's a friend of mine and her job is to take care of the Pizza plex. Her being here allows you to play in the day care" he spoke, glancing back at the child. "Cool, huh?" He continued, ruffling the little brat's locks. "...I guess" the youngster mumbled, not really interested in the situation anymore. "Alright then, go ahead and go play" he smiled, as the child zoomed off to the jungle gym.
"You were watching me with a red face?" He teased, as a bubbly smile started forming on his face. "I wanted to come and say hi, I didn't mean to seem like such a creep" you claimed sheepishly, embarrassed by the animatronic's knowledge of your staring. "It's fine! I even told you to come!" He laughed, patting you on the shoulder. "Sun! Come quick!" A small voice called, distracting the giant, once again. "See you later" you smile, waving the robot goodbye, letting him continue his job. "Alright!" He exclaimed joyfully.
Once the building was completely void of people, you quickly made your way to the anmatronic's day care area. You swiftly avoid every staff bot on your way there, trying to get there as soon as possible. You finally arrive to the slide, shrugging your shoulders "...Might as well" you think to yourself, finding it a faster route. You slither your way to the bottom, landing in the infinite pool of plastic, colorful balls.
"(Y/N)? Is that you?" the excited voice called, approaching your direction. "...Yeah" you confirm awkwardly, suddenly embarrassed by your childish decision to use the slide. "You must really enjoy using the slide, huh?" he comments cheerfully, offering his hand, trying to help you out of the somewhat deep ball pit. The both of you make you way towards the security desk, deciding to sit in the same empty chairs. Sun's eyes quickly glanced at your hands, to then look you in the face. "Don't turn the lights off, right?" you speak softly, understanding the animatronic's cryptic eye message.
"Uh, yeah..." he claimed, awkwardly, to then replace his frown with a bright smile. "So, you came to see me today?" he continued, smiling wide, now sitting with his legs crossed. "I wanted to see you" you state quietly, almost whispering your answer, giving the giant a puppy dog look. The robot chuckled softly, ruffling your hair in a messy manner. "You looked really handsome helping the kids today, especially when you smile" you claim, as a light red begins to decorate your already steaming face.
Sun's eyes widen, as you words began to affect him. His face started to heat up, as a dark blush conquered his cheeks. "Oh, uhm, thank you!" he managed to stutter, flustered by you kind comment, beginning to fumble on his words, accompanied by a constant nervous laughter. "How was your day?" you ask innocently, trying to ease the bumbling mess' mind. "Oh, really well actually!" he declared, noticing you effort to calm his embarrassment with a light smile.
"The kid that saw me peeking on you, surprised me quite a bit" you giggle softly, remembering how you previously made a fool out of yourself. "You mean Taylor! One time the little rascal got stuck on the jungle gym, crying for me to come and save-" Sun once again finishes his sentence prematurely, leaving you perplexed. "What happened next?" you ask, not wanting the same situation to repeat. "It's nothing I just-" the animatronic's speech was cut short by your angered voice. "Your not a bother! You never will be! Why wont you just talk to me?!" you declare staring the taller male in the eyes, now out of breath from all the passion you filled your words with.
The giant was speechless, blankly glancing back at your face, surprised by your sudden outburst. The two of you remain in the room's silence, as you both continue to maintain consistent eye contact. "Uhm...it's just, every time I would speak to the previous guard about these trivial things, she told me that I was annoying." He finally managed to state in a cracking voice.
