Piper ran away from Hook, laughter filling her chest. She pushed past street vendors, casual citizens, and stands to get away from her rival. Of course, he had no clue of her heritage but the way they taunted each other made him yearn to find out.
Despite the tight green corset and leather jacket Piper was able to climb up a latter onto a nearby roof, quickly taking it away so that the others were unable to follow. The man fixing the roof yelled at her in annoyance but she simply ran with glee. Piper found herself jumping top to top before finding herself near the ocean.
She climbed back onto the ground with a small grunt before feeling a small presence behind her. Instantly whipping around Piper found herself making eye contact with the man himself.
"Harry Hook," she said in a teasing tone. She slowly backed up as he neared her, gasping when she hit a wall.
"Piper, hello lass," he smirked.
Harry placed his hand on the wall, effectively diminishing any opportunity of escape. Looking up at him Piper refused to allow herself to show any weakness. On the isle weakness meant death.
"I missed ye, I had no one to play with," he pouted. "Which leads me to wonder, where do ye go?"
Harry watched intently as I ducked under his arms, slowly walking away.
"I have family bonding sessions with my mother," sarcasm dripped from my words. "We hug and bake cookies and Santa gives us both a big hug."
"Speaking of," Hook walked directly in front of me, causing me to stop. He leaned into my face closely, ours inches apart. "Who are ye'r parents anyway? Seems to be the most well guarded secrets of the isle."
"Wouldn't you like to know?" I pushed my hand against his chest and he leaned back overdramatically.
"Ye wound me lass," he teased, running his hook along her face.
"How terrible," she rolled her eyes as the cold metal reached her chin, forcing her to look up at him.
He groaned at the look she was giving him before speaking. "Ye know if ye wanted my crew would accept ye."
"Believe it or not I don't want to join a group of pirates, but I appreciate the offer," Piper winked, kissing his cheek before back flipping off of a nearby ledge. Harry ran to look over but, as always, by the time he reached it she was gone.
"Fuck she's such a tease," Harry practically moaned before reporting back to Uma.
And if anyone asked why he was holding his cheek Hook would simply say he got punched.
Piper's heart raced as she pressed against the small shop. Now sure that she was hidden from view Piper held fingers to her lips, where Hook's soft skin was a moment ago.
Her head hit the cement as she tried to center her thoughts to anything else. Hook got her so riled up that if she didn't calm herself the pixie dust wouldn't work. Finding the small hole, Piper sat down.
She took a deep breath before sprinkling the glitter onto herself.
"I believe," she whispered, kicking off of the rock with her combat boots. Piper soared over the water, salt filling her lungs and becoming the only thing she could smell.
Soon Piper touched down in Neverland, settling in her room. Her mother spent all of her time worrying about her lost love and her father didn't care so neither ever noticed she was gone.
She changed into nigh time attire before sitting down at her desk. She gently opened her journal, turning to the page she titled 'Isle Reformations'.
The list was not crazy long, but not short either:
1) create proper schooling
2) provide good quality food
3) create a feedback opportunity
Piper had created this list from her years on the Isle and found herself wondering if this could work.
Of course she knew of Ben's ideas of bringing over the kids but not all would want to abandon their family, their lives. So, they had to change the Isle too.
Piper tapped her pencil against the desk anxiously, staring longingly at the clothes she always wore to the Isle. If only life were simpler and she wouldn't have to run away just to see part of the kingdom she would help rule one day.
The sun rose and Piper got changed into a dark green sundress, covered in black accents. Today she would be headed to Auradon to discuss when she would be appointed as Ben's Royal Advisor. It would also be the first time Piper has ever officially met his newest girlfriend, the daughter of Maleficent.
Of course Piper was there at Ben's coronation but in all of the chaos she was never properly introduced.
Getting into the car Piper found anxieties filling her chest. Ever since Ben had started dating Mal she had been nervous that Mal wasn't good for him. She could only hope that she was incorrect.
Piper had never liked any of his previous girlfriends and they made it clear they felt the same.
Ever since Audrey started calling him Benny Boo she did the same to express her distaste of the nickname. How could she react if Mal was bad? If she said anything people would just believe it was because she was from the Isle. Would Ben even believe her?
Piper groaned in frustration before checking her phone with a smile. He didn't know she was coming to help him plan the Cotillion. This made her decide it was the perfect time for a prank.
