The first time Piper Pan visited the Isle of the Lost she was tired. Tired of the preppy and over dramatic girls that were royalty, tired of the arrogant boys that constantly asked her out. And most of all, tired of her best friend.
Don't get her wrong, Piper loved Ben with all her heart. He was the brother she never had! But he was just so socially exhausting to be with.
Piper was like her father. A trickster that couldn't be contained, extremely playful, and way to good at sword fighting. For this reason she balanced Benny Boo out. She was the chaos to his diplomacy.
And yet, despite the kingdoms wishes, the two had shown no romantic interest.
And she snapped.
The thirteen year old girl needed to let out some stem, an impossible feat when you live in Auradon. Impossible when your father runs the state of Neverland, the island still keeping his youth. Being the same age as your father was exhausting and your mother constantly missing him was worse.
So she had an idea.
It was quite terrible if she did say so herself. With about one hundred ways it could go wrong it was perfect for teen rebellion. So, without a second thought, she set her plan into motion.
The girl put on some fighting clothes, consisting of a green corset and leather jacket on top. She put on some and sheathed her sword, putting chocolate and other things she could bribe people with in her pockets.
Piper sprinkled herself with pixie dust and flew to the Isle, entering in a hole everyone was too busy fighting to notice. She entered through an unused bathroom and stepped out.
The area was buzzing with excitement and energy, something her boring hometown severely lacked. Piper let out a smirk before running free, something she had not been able to do in years. The preteen explored the island with little to no trouble in happiness. Then someone had to ruin it.
"Hello lass, ye don't exactly look like you're from here," Piper whipped her head around to whoever was speaking and was met with an... interesting sight.
It was a boy, about her age, who looked like a stereotypical pirate, right down to the makeup and hook. He had a red leather jacket on over a torn white shirt. His pirate hat was too big and his sword seemed to heavy for his size. The hook on his hand was obviously unneeded and his smoky eye was over exaggerated. Which encouraged her reply.
"Oh really, guyliner?" She challenged with a small smile.
The boy gave her a mischievous smile. "Ye look too-" he stroked her face with his hook "-clean to be from here. Did ye get sent from Auradon for forgetting to put your pinky up at tea?"
Piper allowed her vision to fall onto the cold metal on her cheek before quickly moving her sword. She caught the hook on it, pulling so that it fell to the hilt of the sharp blade. The smirk that plastered it's way onto her face rivaled the grin of the Cheshire Cat.
"Now now darling," she said in a fake Scottish accent, "let's not get ahead of ourselves. Let me guess, you're the son of the famous Captain Hook. He gave you the famous hand because he didn't want the memories and you took it like the child desperate to be loved you are. Now you pretend the metal actually means something and protect it with your life."
Piper saw him wince and laughed at his next words, "give it back to me lass and we won't have to have a problem."
She threw the hook to the side with a raised brow, creating a rivalry that wouldn't end that day. "Fetch."
As he scurried to the weapon she left him, going to explore more of the island. But all good things must come to an end and before sunset she came back home.
That was four years ago.
Since then she has returned at least once a week with a soul purpose of annoying the one Harry Hook. Surprisingly he didn't end up finding out of her parents, yet he still must have subconsciously known because their rivalry was well known. And she was whipped.
No, the girl would never admit it out loud. Not to the world, and most definitely not to herself. But Harry would.
He had to go through constant teasing and torture from his crew, because they all knew. Almost anyone who saw the two of you together, faces inches apart as you taunted the other, would assume the two of you were together. To which the VK's would respond with, they wished.
But they didn't know everything.
For reasons unknown to Harry, she kept coming back.
But one day she visits Benny Boo at his new kingdom. She was soon to be appointed his official royal advisor and intended to use her personal information of the Isle to her advantage. But his girlfriend she never knew runs to the Isle.
And now she has to help pick up the mess.
