It was a nice day of school. No one really bothering or disturbing Charlotte.
"Charlotte!" Abril shouted.
Okay...It's ruined.
"What do you want, Abril?" Charlotte asked.
"Can you help me with this math problem?"
"Huh? Hey, didn't Mrs.Brown already explained this?"
"Well, yeah! I can't understand what she's even saying!" Typical Abril with her excuses.
"How can you understand it if you don't even pay attention!"
"Eehh.."
"Whatever,let me explain to you again" Charlotte sighed.
it was 6:00 PM,students goes home one by one.Charlotte is the only one left.Looks like April already went home.
"Charlotte!!" Abril shouted.
"GAHH!!" Charlotte screamed.
"Hey hey,Char!! Good work today!" Abril said it in a happy tone.
"Yeah.Why did you appeared out of nowhere?!?!"
"I'm here the whole time you know!!"
"Hmph,whatever.Lets just go."
They walked to the school entrance."See you tomorrow,Abril."
"See you!!" Abril said while waving at Charlotte.Looks like Charlotte's family car is here.
"Good evening,miss." The driver greeted Charlotte."Good evening..."
Charlotte take out a book.from her school bag to read.It was about "The Protectors" from years ago.
"I wonder if they exist..."
"Ugh,who cares.Its just some fantasy."
"Miss,miss.We're here." The driver called Charlotte.
"Oh..Sorry for dozing off.."
Charlotte get out from the car and went inside her house.Surprise surprise,her father greeted her.
"Good evening,Charlotte."
"Good evening.." She sighed.
"How's your study?" The father asked her in a cold tone.
"It was fine...I guess.."
"You may go now"
Hmph.Charlotte knew it that he's going to ask that.She and her father don't have a great relationship.Charlotte goes to room and close the door.She throw her school on the bed and take out her phone.
She texted to Abril:
"hey,you back?"
Its been few minutes and Abril hasn't read her text yet.Maybe she's still not home.Charlotte open a game app to play and kill some time.
Charlotte looked at the clock,its 6:50 PM.
"It's time for dinner.." She goes downstairs to the dining table.
"Do you need anything else,miss Charlotte?" One of the maid asked.
"No,its okay." Charlotte answered.
Charlotte eats the food one by one until finish.Usually she didn't eat this much,but because her father is not here tonight,she can eat freely.
"Thanks for the food."
"I hope you like it" One of maid said.
"Hm." Charlotte went to her room again.She take out her phone to see if there's a notification.
