Movie Night with Wanda

Wanda Maximoff and You decide to watch a show...

It is a calm evening at Avengers compound tonight. Tony is on a business trip, Clint is with his family, Thor is offworld and there are no major catastrophes or supervillains. It is a rare night of simple blissful down time.

You decide to go to your room and binge a show, something that you rarely have time to do as an Avenger, so you grab a pint of ice cream from the freezer and trek back to your room. As you scroll down netflix you notice "Anne with an E" in your watch again. You decide to watch it so you click play and settle back into your mountain of pillows.

Not long into the first episode you notice Wanda standing at your door frame looking unsure about coming in. She hasn't been at the compound for very long but you have been doing your best to make her feel welcome. Suddenly she notices your eyes on her. With a start she mumbles, "Oh sorry, I uh... I was just.." You interrupt her to ask, "would you like to come in, I know it's not a sitcom but I think you would like it?" Wanda tentatively steps across the threshold of the room and sits at the very foot of the bed, as if afraid to disturb you.

As the episodes go on and the sky gets darker, she slowly starts to move up towards you. Finally you two are sitting right next to each other and you can hear her breath, slow and steady. You can feel her body tense up as she realizes how close she is sitting next to you and starts to feel out of place so you wrap your arm around her and, slowly but surely, she leans her head down onto your shoulder. You feel your eyes getting heavier and heavier.

Sun is streaming through the curtains and the TV is still playing from last night. You open your eyes to find yourself curled around wanda, feeling her deep sleeping breaths. You sigh and lay your head right down next to her perfectly content.
