"Gosh, you've gotten so big," I heard Zirus mutter as I looked at the pretty girl in the mirror.

Wait, I've called myself pretty, maybe Spade rubbed off on me. It's been right at a month since he's been discovered.

Removing myself from my floor length mirror, I grabbed my underwear and headed to the shower. The scorching water cascaded down my back, the evil waters making sure to run over the small cuts on my body. As I scrubbed my body free from any dirt I could have picked up over night, I practiced the song I have to sing today. During the chorus, I looked up at the waterproof analog clock we have on the wall only to see that it was 10:45 a.m.

"Crap! I'm late!!"

I only have 15 minutes before the program starts. Quickly drying my body, I rubbed some lotion on and slipped into the royal blue maxi dress and shawl that was waiting beside my door. I combed my hair down and put on some earrings and a necklace. Seeing I was 10 minutes late, I rushed to take my phone off its charger, slipped on my UGLY black flats, and ran downstairs, being careful to not trip over my dress, grabbed my keys, and ran to my car.

When I arrived, I jumped out of my vehicle and pushed the big doors open to my family Baptist church.

As I walked to my seat church hymns overtook my eardrums. Thankfully, everyone was distracted by the music, so not many people noticed my late entrance.

"Hey Ma," I muttered while taking a seat, "sorry I'm late, I got carried away in the shower."

She laughed and whispered, "It's ok, as long as you're here, you're just in time."

"And now, we will have Ms. Veronica perform a solo," I heard the preacher say.

As I stood from my seat, I heard my mom whisper a small "Good luck," to me. Once making it to the front of the audience, I shot a smile at everyone, took the microphone, and opened my mouth to sing.

"There's a voice that cries out in the silence

Searching for heart that will love him

Longing for child that will give him their all

Give it all, he wants it all"

By the end of the song, I opened my eyes to see my brother right in front of me.

Yea, that's right, I see him every now and then, especially when I have to sing, because he was always there to encourage me.

Knowing I had to sing another song with the choir, I smiled at the audience, and stepped to the choir stand.

Thirty minutes later, the service was over, and I had to sing my favorite song, Spirit.

The opening notes played, and I opened my mouth once again, to sing.

"We're all gathered here. In your presence Lord.

With our arms open wide

With lifted hands and with open hearts

We want you to, be our guide!"

A/N: Hi! Just a filler, as a sorry for the long wait. I've been busy with school and all, so here it is! As you can see, I FINALLY finished TDKAU so go over and read that for me? Also, Ronnie's outfit, and the song she sings (He Wants it All) are to the side. TYSM :)
