as i park my car in the parking lot, i see my friend Isadora (Ee-Sah-Door-Ah). we were going to the mall today and then for dinner we were going to get sushi and eat it at the beach, it was one of our monthly traditions.
"Hey Bitch!" everyone in the parking lot looked at Isadora like she was crazy, but she didn't care. she was a person who gave no shits about what others thought of her. me on the other hand, i care a little more than a should.
"Hey Isa!" as we walk closer to each other we open our arms for an embrace.
"You ready?" we pull away from the hug a bit.
"Absolutely!" we walk towards the mall, holding hands. most people probably thought we were dating but Isa is Aromatic, but i don't care, me and Isa can hold hand's platonic.
Time skip
as we get or boba after some shopping, i see Mark.
"Nope!" i say pulling Isa towards another store.
"But Y/N, I want boba!" she pulls me to the boba shop but i try my best to resist, but my efforts fail. as we enter the shop, Isa waves at him, they were Chem partners last year so they knew each other pretty well. Mark waves back and shoots Isa a smirk.
"Hey Mark, how ya been?" Isa is practically pulling me over to where Mark is standing.
"I've been good, got some new books yesterday. how have you been?" i could see him staring at me while i stood next to Isa.
"I've been ok, i've been hanging out with this bozo all day, but i need to get them out of the house some how." Isa said sarcastically
"Hey, at least i have a job!" i say lightheartedly, i was obviously joking and Isa could tell. we all laugh a bit.
after a little bit of talking, me and Isa order our boba and we sit next to Mark while we wait.
"So what are you two doing today?" he was just trying to keep the conversation going.
"Well, we have been shopping for about two hours and now we are going to go get sushi and have an early beach dinner, what are your plans?" i could only look at his beautiful eyes, they were so beautiful.
"I'm just doing a boba run, after this i'll probably go home and just chill." Isa looked over to me with a very familiar look, she had an idea. i tried to tell her to not do it but before i could she said it.
"You should join us, after this we are going to call in our order for sushi and walk around a bit, but if you don't want to that's fine." i could see Mark blushing a bit, i think it was mainly out of embarrassment. Isa tended to embarrass people with how loud she was, but i loved it.
"Uhhh, sure, but only if your ok with it Y/N?" he looked at me with the sweetest look on his face. after thinking for a bit, i agree.
"I would love it if you joined us!" i was nervous as hell, what if he thinks i'm weird, or annoying.
"Order for Isa, Mark, and Y/N!" the cashiers voice carried so well, they must have done theater at some point.
"Have you ever done theater? because if not you should try it out, your voice carries very well!" the cashier looked almost offended by what i said. "sorry that was meant to be a complement."
"it's ok, thank you" they shoot me a smile before i walk back to our table with our drinks.
"so, you guys wanna head to our cars?" i wasn't trying to be pushy, i just wanted to get out of the packed boba shop.
"could i actually catch a ride with you guys, i walked here so my cars at my house." he looked a little embarrassed.
"sure, i've got plenary of room in my car, i think Isa got a ride here cuz this goof hasn't got there license." i say nudging Isa's arm jokingly.
after talking for a little bit more, we call in our order and head to my car. out of the corner of my eye i could see Isa and Mark make eye contact and just start running, only Isa know what my car looked like so i don't know why Mark even ran after her. i unlocked the car once. they got a little closer, and Mark, being the klutz that he is, almost tripped and knocked Isa over, but nonetheless, he got the the passenger seat first.
we all got into the car and drove to get our food........
