as i'm walking home from work, i decided to listen to some more calm music, today had been really draining, but now i got to hang out with some of my new streamer friends. i was listening to a song called Fourth of July by Sefjan Stevens, the song made me think about my mom a lot, she had always called me her little dove and one of the lyrics was "did you get enough love, my little dove?" it feel like she is trying to talk to me through the song. i can feel her around me, i miss her so much. she had always made me so happy, even with just the small stuff she did like making cookies or buying me things i needed.
i'm walking around, noticing all these little things, like how the leaves are moving or how the flowers are swaying in the wind. this was probably my favorite part of the day, just walking around like i was the only one in the world.
i slowly approach my house and message my team.

i set my phone down and fix myself a snack before i go sit and read. i decided to make a mini charcuterie board with cheese, some club crackers, grapes, and strawberries. it definitely didn't look fancy, but it tasted good.
after i sat and read for about 45 minutes, i decided to boot up my pc and hop on to the MCC practice server. i wasn't going to stream today cuz i was very exhausted, but if someone else wanted to that was ok. i hop on to the server and i see that Ranboo is already online, so i call him on discord and to no one's surprise, he answers immediately.
"Hey N/N!" he says in a cheerful tone.
"Hi Ranboo, how was your day?"
"it was really good, i streamed with my friend Bill for a bit after you left, then i walked around town and went to the mall and saw one of my friends for a bit. how was your day?"
"it was ok, work was stressful, but one of my friends came in and i talked to them for a minute."
"nice! do you wanna see if Tommy and Tubbo wanna start practicing?"
"sure!"

"ok, Tuboo said he's ready and Tommy has to boot up his pc." i say tabbing back into the server.
"ok, you wanna practice ace race for a bit?"
"sure." a few seconds go by and then Tubbo joins the call
"Hi guys!!!"
"Hi Tubbo!" Ranboo and I say
"what are you guys practicing?"
"ace race." i say trying not to lose my focus
"oh, ok. when Tommy gets on do you guys wanna practice parkour tag?" Tubbo asked
"yeah, that's one of the only games i haven't practiced yet so i need any practice i can get lol!" i say laughing a bit.
after we had finished our 2nd lap, Tommy joined vc and we started practicing parkour tag. i definitely wasn't the best at the game but i wasn't as bad as Tommy
"OH FUCK I FELL!" i hear Tommy shout, time for me to tag him.
"TOMMY, BEHIND YOU!" as soon has Tubbo said that, i tagged Tommy.
"SON OF A BITCH, YOUR A FUCKING WANKER N/N!!"
"no, i'm just better at the game than you." i say acting cocky. i look over at my phone and see that my dad texted me 10 minutes ago saying "going out for dinner tonight, be ready in 15❤️" oh crap, i had 5 minutes to get my shoes on and get downstairs.
"crap guys, i gotta go. my dad said i need to be ready to leave in 15 minutes, 10 minutes ago."
"oh ok, talk to you later then?" Ranboo asked
"yup, bye, love you guys..... platonically." i say
"bye N/N, see you tomorrow when i kick the shit out of you at parkour tag!" Tommy said
"bye N/N, love you too!" Tubbo said
"love you too N/N, talk to you tomorrow!" Ranboo says. i hung up the phone and then got a message from Ranboo as i was heading down the stairs.
