Twenty Eight.

You never will completely understand a person until they reveal themselves. This was the exact case with emerald.

"How about we play a game... two truths and a lie?" She asked smiling. "Except I won't tell you which is which, you have have to figure it out as time goes on," she finished.

I looked at her contemplating whether or not to agree to this. I could make it funny, but I would probably still get scolded by Edward.

"Sure, but this stays between you and i, right?" I asked. She smiled and nodded in response. "Okay then, you first," I said.

She smiled as thinking what to say. "I'm a dog lover, I hate math, and... I'm a rare creature!" She said after pausing to think. Her two truths were obviously the first two things she said, it being things about her that she knows. And she had to think of a lie. "Your turn," she said smiling.

"I love kids, I've learned all this material before, and I love softball and cheer," I said to her smiling. She looked confused.

"I can tell you your lie though!" She fake whined while smiling.

"You say it like you didn't do the same!" I said giggling.

"Ms. Swan! Do you know what I'm referring to?" Our teacher questioned. Thinking he had me caught in not paying attention.

"The Krebs Cycle," I answered. I looked at Emerald and smirked. I laughed internally as I realized that I had done the same thing as Edward had once done to me.

"Well considering that the bell is going to ring any moment I'm going to say goodbye and here's my number," I said and handed her a piece of paper with my number on it. She smiled and tucked the Paper in her binder so she wouldn't loose it. I smiled back and started making my way to the door just as the bell rang.

"So, how was your class?" Paul asked. I glared at him.

"It was okay, that Emerald girl is in it... she sits next to me. She uhm... is cool," I said. I was watching her though, she was just coming out of the lunch line with her tray, she smiled at me and I gave her a small smirk back.

"She thinks that you are her friend..." seth said, thinking I'm playing with her. I looked at him like he was very stupid.

"Seth I'm not pretending to be her friend... it's just odd... I had a very strong dislike to her at the begining of the day... and now she doesn't seem as much as an enemy as I though she would be..." I said, looking at her periodically. She was strange... ill give her that much, but she's also very nice and sweet. It's a catch twenty-two. She's nice, but something about her is off. But it's whatever.

(A/N: I've been saying that so much that it's now my catchphrase... -.-)

"Bella can I talk to you?" Edward all of a sudden asked me, I looked up asked him from my seat, he was standing next to me with a pained expression. I quietly excused myself from lunch and walked outside the building with him.

"Yes?" I said trying to keep myself composed.

"It's just... how are you feeling..." he asked. He obviously didn't want to ask me this question, he just was too chicken to ask the other one. I bit my lip, deciding whether or not to tell him the truth or play the sick card. I decided to have a little fun.

"Horrible, my stomach won't stop hurting from where I was stabbed," I said holding the wound spot over my shirt. But what he didn't know, was that I was using my powers to make my wound look bad.

And just as I predicted he asked a question. "Here let me see it," I lifted my shirt and he gasped. "Bella I need to take you back to Carlisle..." he said staring at my stomach horrified. I couldn't help it any longer. I busted into a fit of laughter. He looked at me confused and then back to my stomach which was now completely fine.

"Dont do that to me!" He said gasping. I was still standing there laughing at him. I stopped a second and stared into his eyes biting my lip, it's just been a habit of mine lately. He looked down at me, and before I knew it his hands were cupping my face and his lips were against mine.

And the worst part of it all was that I didn't stop him.

So omg guys.... I finally uploaded. I've just been so busy bc softball season is here with the varsity team so I've been doing so much and not getting out of practice till late. Plus my cheer coach has been wanting to put me with the competition squad so I also have to go to those practices too... so Im so sorry for not uploading in forever! My sincere   apologies!! XX _Madie
