11.2 DELIRIOUSLY HAPPY

"I am sorry Kamoor but I can't take you as my disciple."

Kamoor got benumbed by those words. Tears were streaming down on his face from his wide-open eyes. The warm breeze was caressing his face. But he was too stupefied to feel anything except agony.

"That's what..... " Hanroh cut those emotions off of Kamoor. "..... I like to say..... But. "

BUT! That 'But' made Kamoor's eyes more wide-open. His eyes dashed to Hanroh. Before he could open his mouth to ask something, Hanroh interjected him.

"Come tomorrow morning, from now on you are my disciple."

He snivelled. "What?"

Hanroh lowered his head in exasperation. He let out a deep, heavy and weary sigh. He again looked ahead at Kamoor.

"Listen Kamoor, if you don't stop crying then I'll change my decision."

He quickly mopped the tears with his hands. His eyes were beary and face had turned all red. Hanroh's lips formed a soft smile. He was glad that Kamoor somehow stopped crying, though he was the one who made Kamoor cry.

Hanroh crossed the arms around his chest. "You know, Warriors are known for their gallantry. "

"Yes!" Kamoor suddenly became attentive. The stupefaction had already left his mind and soul.

Hanroh nodded his head as a sign of being agreed.

"Kamoor, walking on a different path from the rest..... No normal person would think of doing it. And, it takes a lot of courage..... It takes much more than courage. But, if I'll be honest, this walk is not going to be a walk in a park."

He strode toward Kamoor, he slightly leaned over and placed his finger on Kamoor's chest.

He flashed a toothy grin. "No matter what others say, for me you are a warrior by heart. You are as gallant as a warrior."

DELIRIOUSLY HAPPY! Kamoor had read this word only in fairy tales. Struck now by this feeling overwhelmed him with all kinds of mixed emotions; the good emotions. He had remained unknown to those emotions till now so he didn't know how to express this in words.

Without giving any second thoughts he embraced Hanroh tightly. It came as a surprise to Hanroh. His eyes slightly got wide but then relaxed seconds later.

Hanroh said. "I can teach you how to fight in battles but you have to fight like a spellcaster. And I have one more condition; learn as many spells as you can.

Kamoor nodded with a big grin on his face.

Hanroh patted Kamoor's head and softly ruffled his hair. "You are Kamoor Alkaza, son of Manzu and Kasira Alkaza. You are a spellcaster, just accept who you are and focus on becoming better than you were yesterday."

He added. "And.... You can let go of me now."

Kamoor quickly withdrew, and his radiant smile vanished. "Sorry!" He chortled nervously.

"It's time to meet your fellow trainees." Hanroh smirked, he slightly moved his head to where Azeal and Sierra were sitting. It was a sign to tell Kamoor to let's go to them.

Both, Hanroh and Kamoor walked to them. Azeal's and Sierra's gazes fell on them, they stopped arguing and rose up their feet.

Kamoor was averting his eyes. He held his arm out and said softly. "I am Kamoor Alkaza, son of Manzu Alkaza. I am looking forward to the training with you both."

Both Azeal's and Sierra's jaws dropped. "You are the son of a nobleeeee!!!" They both yelled in unison.

Kamoor moved his arm back to himself. Pink hue spread on his cheeks. He got embarrassed by the fact that neither of them shook his hand.

Hanroh glared at them. "Behave properly and introduce yourselves."

"I am Azeal Mustakh, son of Zior Mustakh." He also said softly being edgy.

Kamoor got bewildered. "You are a Priinnceee!!"

Sierra cleared her throat to get some attention. "I am Sierra Dayaraan, daughter of Nomaan Dayaraan."

Kamoor and Sierra stared at each other for a while then she raised her eyebrows.

"Sorry, I don't have the slightest idea who you are." Kamoor said in a dull tone.

"Just die you - "

Hanroh cleared his throat. "She is Azeal's bodyguard."

Sierra glanced at Azeal and she noticed that he was making a long face. "I know your face is like that since you were born but I'll still ask .....What happened?"

Azeal eyes were filled with tears. He looked at Sierra with a pouted face. "Now he knows I am a Prince, he will treat me like a Prince now." He dashed away from there while crying.

She rolled her eyes. 'They both are idiots.'

~•*•~

It was some day for Kamoor. The sky now had turned yellowish-orange. He was plodding his way back home. He opened the door of the library as slow as he could so it couldn't make any noise. He silently moved inside and tried to shut the door without making any noise.

He exhaled a heavy breath of relief. As he turned he screamed to see her mother standing right in front of him. She was standing with her arms crossed and kept glaring at him.

"Why are you sneaking into the house like you've done something you shouldn't have?"

Suddenly her gaze fell on his arm. She cupped his face. "Oh My God, Kamoor ....What happened to you? Didn't you go to The Training Place? Did you get into a fight there? Why there's a trace of tears on your cheeks? Did you cry? Oh dear! You got bruises. Tell me, is it hurting?"

Kamoor held her shoulders and giggled. "Mother, how can I answer if you ask me so many questions at once? Relax! Everything is fine, I am alright. I got hurt while doing training."

"Wait, I should cast a healing spell on you." Her tone was all worried and sad.

"NO!" He grabbed his arm and cracked a warm smile staring at his arm. "I don't need any spells right now."

She looked at his face and smiled. "I think something good has happened."

"Yeah, Guru Hanroh accepted me as his disciple." After saying this Kamoor walked into the room.

She got bewildered hearing this. By the time she looked back, Kamoor had already gone into the room.

She said loudly but tried to sound as politely as she could. "Did he agree to train you as a warrior deeaarrr?"

"He will train me as a warrior but I have to fight like a spellcaster. I think I am trying to be both!" He shouted from the room.

She was astonished hearing this. "What? Uggghh! I need my meditating spellbook."

As Kamoor moved ahead he witnessed that his father was sleeping facedown on the table. Manzu's robe and some spell books which were left open lying on the table.

He put the blanket over Manzu and whispered. "From now I'll be a son you can be proud of. Don't worry, I'll be a spellcaster you've always wanted me to be." He gave a gentle smile looking at Manzu's face.

He sat on a chair, grabbed a spellbook and started reading it.

Kamoor has understood that he has a warrior's gallant heart and a spellcaster's wisdom.
