It was 7 am and Katsuki looked over to the calendar that the two of you had in your shared bedroom. He saw that the day was the tenth of March and it was marked with a golden sticker. On the side, there was a sticky note where it showed what different stickers meant and he saw that it meant it was the date of a birthday. He began to think, "Whose birthday is it today? Mine is in April so it isn't mine. (C/N)' s is in 5 months. IT'S (Y/N)'S!" He woke himself up and looked around. You were still asleep so there was time for him to sneak out and check on the baby that the two of you had.
He snuck into their bedroom as to not wake either of you up. He began to look around and saw that they didn't have much furniture or anything to entertain themselves with.
[FLASH BACK]
"Katsuki?" he looked at you and you were washing the dishes. "When are we going to get (C/N) some things? Their room is just so empty and the most decorating we've done is paint the room a dark pastel aquamarine blue. When are we gonna give it actual furniture?" He shrugged it off and postponed it to later.

Then that got him thinking about what he thinks is the best gift ever. So he went to IKEA. (Those meatballs!)
You woke up and thought that he would be right next to you. But you didn't feel anything. You looked at the calendar and thought "Out of all the days to leave me and (C/N), my birthday? Damn, he goes all out in everything." The baby began to wail and you buried your face in your pillow. You tended to your baby and thought about where he could've gone to hide away from you. Probably not his parents' house because his mother would chew him out.
He was lost. "This place is a maze. One moment I have planned to get things for a beach-themed nursery, and now I stand in front of a large closet while being lost in the biggest furniture store known to man! They should really come up with a detailed and easy-to-understand map for this place." He let out a deep sigh and tried to figure out where he was and how to get back while still getting everything.
You turned on your tv and decided to watch something while eating (Fave chips). (C/N) was next to you and playing around with the throw pillows. You were kinda sad and the fact that it was your birthday didn't really make anything better.

It's been more than 4 hours and by now, you were convinced that he had left the two of you. He was the one that came up with the idea to have a family and you knew that he would never be able to handle it. You even told him and he said "Nah it'll be fine." And here we are. Alone on the couch with your baby taking a nap. Checking on your shared bank account, he didn't leave without taking a hefty loan. You are definitely going to court.
It has been 6 hours and it was all worth it. Sure he had spent well over 5 thousand dollars on your child, but it was something that you guys have been holding off. Plus, he didn't forget about you. He got your favorite flavor of cake in a beautiful theme in your favorite color with your favorite flowers and balloons and 7 different gifts. He came back to your guys' home and parked the car with the trunk facing the door. He got out of the door and you saw him get out of the jeep.
"This bitch really gonna come back after leaving to get his shit and leave with my jeep?! And flexing with the fact that he knows how to park backward. Wow Katsuki, you really wanna square up huh?" He opened the door to surprise you with everything he had bought for you and the kid until you hit him with a throw pillow.
"What the-"
"YOU BITCH! You left me and came back for! what is all of that?"
"Presents? I went out to buy some stuff for (C/N) and things for your birthday."
You felt embarrassed. You hit your husband that you thought was leaving you on your birthday and at this point, you felt stupid for doing that. "I am so sorry!"
"It's okay. I can just eat this red velvet cake all by myself."
"No! What did you buy that spent us 17 Grand?" He looked at the jeep, implying that you look at it. It had everything that you guys needed for a fully decorated room for your kid and some pretty expensive gifts for you! You hugged him tightly after he set down your cake.
"Your welcome idiot. Now, which do you want to do first?" You then looked at him and you knew that he had the same idea. You two ran upstairs.

The two of you were very sweater and you ruined some perfectly good clothing. It was all worth it because...(AYO? Nah Nah I'm just kidding. Here.)

because your child will absolutely love it. It was themed after the beach. They had all the toys they could need. You ended up having the best birthday ever with the two of you ending it by watching tv on the couch with some cake and milk.
