A Couple of weeks has passed and it's almost Christmas. Spider-Man is still out there and unfortunately we or I don't know who is under that mask. I tried my best asking people but I get the same answers. As I drove up one morning to my office. Of course my good pal Carl was there.
"Good Morning." I said to him, smiling.
"Good Morning, ready to investigate Spider man again?"
It was weird, I could've sworn I've been through this before about Spider-Man. But, who knows, it could've been a dream or coincidence. As I sat on my desk, going through different files of criminals, there was one of a boy. But it had no name. I called Carl to see if he knew him. He told me that the file was unknown. I threw it away. I mean I don't know anyone named Peter Parker.
I turned on my tv and The Daily Bugle was talking about Spider-Man.
"It's been a few weeks since the fiasco on the Statute of Liberty and Spider-Man's cultists continue to contend that the vile vigilante is a hero." The angry man said. Once again, I could've sworn seeing him talking about Spider-Man. But once again, I completely forgot. He continued. "But if he were a hero, he'd unmask himself and tell us who he really is. Because only a coward conceals his identity. Only a Coward hides his true intentions. Rest assured, ladies and gentlemen, that this reporter will uncover those intentions. Come hell and high water!" He stood up and thanked his viewers for watching.
"Crazy guy." I said to myself, as I turned off the tv.
Carl walked in with a coat.
"Hey Boss, I was wondering if you want to end it early and go for a walk towards the big Christmas tree." He asked worriedly.
I guess he was asking scared since I would usually say like go back to work and crap.
But, I needed some time off.
"Sure, let me put my coat on."
He smiled happily, and told me that he would wait outside.
Finally, I came down and we were walking to the Christmas tree.
"Hey Carl I gotta ask you something."
"Yeah what's up."
"Do you think Spider-Man is a criminal?"
He stopped walking and sighed.
"Look, I don't know if he is a true hero, but from what I do know is that he always looks out for us." He smiled and continued on walking.
It was getting late and the ice skating rink around the Christmas tree finally opened. As we were skating and talking about the holidays, I happened to look up. And I looked up at the right time. Because I saw Spider-Man, swinging right by us. Looking down at us to make sure we are safe and ok. I don't know who he is, or even if it's a person. However, with Stark dead I heard Spider-Man and Tony were really close. So he will probably make his own suits now. Which I wonder is a hassle for him. But from what I do know, is that he is that Friendly neighborhood Spider-Man.
