Charlotte's body was brought in for an autopsy, I don't know what to do anymore.

2 DAYS LATER

I haven't told anyone about this incident that's bothering me so much. Can I just get away for once? I didn't mean to kill that bitch even if she deserved it.

That night, I was at Wolfgang's residence alongside Anthony. If I became distant, I'd be under suspicion too, so I decided to keep on hanging out normally with them.

Police hasn't returned yet to inform us about the autopsy result, but I'm eager to run away.

"So how did Charlotte die?" Wolfgang ask, He looked perplexed by the circumstances

"I couldn't get ahold of her so I called Elissa. When we arrived inside her room, she was already dead wrapped in her own blanket" Anthony explained, still feeling blue.

"Oh damn man, how tragic. I wonder if there's any break in? Did you two get interviewed by the police already?" Wolfgang asked us

The two of us nodded our head.

"So, how do you think she died then? There seems to be no explanations for it" Wolfgang stated

"I don't know." I shrugged

"I hope it's no foul play. If it's overdose I still can tolerate it but if someone did this, it's unforgivable" Anthony said

My heart almost dropped to the floor, I couldn't handle the amount of anxiety and nervousness within me.

"Wolfgang, may I go to the toilet? I got a sudden urge to pee"

"Sure" Wolfgang unassumingly guide me to the toilet.

I went to the toilet, I locked the door and leaned right on it while trying to catch my breath.
Anthony's words about how he will never forgive anyone who did this kept on replaying.
What if it was me? He will hate me for sure.

"Elissa, are you okay?" I heard Wolfgang called out my name

"Oh yes I am!" I rushed out of the bathroom instantly.

Wolfgang looked at me weird.

"Are you sick?" Wolfgang ask

"No. I'm alright. where's Anthony?"

"He's on the livingroom"

I returned to the livingroom.

Several days later

Charlotte is buried. Anthony alongside me and Wolfgang attended her funeral, I had no choice, I did this to avoid suspicion.

Police said it was a homicide, and they ruled out Anthony from the suspect list after he passed the polygraph test.
