I couldn't sleep, after all the night was still young. My body felt restless I couldn't stand it. Getting up I decide to venture into the woods to test my new strength. If I really was a beast now then surly I'll be able to knock down a tree with my own fists.

Getting deeper and deeper into the woods I find the perfect tree to test my strength. This could end really good or really bad. Taking a deep breath I punch hard at the tree in front of me making half of it fall down easily. Excitement surged through me as I looked at my un injured hand.

This. Was. AWESOME! Maybe being a monster wasn't so ba- all of a sudden I caught a whiff of something sweet. Focusing on that smell I could hear a young child crying as I dashed towards it. Standing in the shadows I saw a little girl no older then five holding her bleeding knee in pain. Why was she all the way out here?

Her parents have to be close by right?

Kill her. She's weak.

You again. I thought I got rid of you.

I'm apart of you. You can't get rid of me.

Tsk. How annoying... That smell though. It smelled ten times better then when I smelled Mae's blood. Was it because she was younger? Shaking my head to try and clear these thoughts I decided to help her.

"Hey. Are you lost? Do you need help?" It was taking everything in me not to sink my teeth into her.

She cried louder as I got closer making me jump.

"I'm sorry if I scared you. Are you camping nearby? Your parents must be worried sick."

She calmed down as she spoke.

"D-Dad went away. I followed but got l-lost."

I see.

"You really shouldn't be out here by yourself." Very gently I lift her onto my shoulders as she laughed. Little kids where so easy to please. But the smell...

Calm down. Your fine.

Walking forward I tried focusing on the sounds around me and sure enough I could hear a female voice yell with worry.

"Anna?! Anna! Please answer me!"

Thankfully there camp wasn't that far. When her mother saw me she rushed towards me as I handed her the child.

"Thank you! I looked away for just a second then BOOM gone. I got so worried. Here take this as a thank you for helping me!"

She handed me a ziplock bag with a sandwich in it along with a water bottle.

"Thank you. My tents not to far so I'll be on my way now."

"Are you and your parents hunting as well?"

I see. So there out here hunting animals?

"Something like that."

Parting ways I took out the sandwich and bit into it only to puke it all out within seconds.

"What the hell?"

Glaring at the ground in anger I take another bite only to get sick once again.

"Why can't I keep it down?"

"Because your like me."

Very nervously I look over only to see the man from before. The man with the scar on his right eye.

"As thanks for not killing my daughter here."

He tossed a squirrel at me making me pale.

"Heh. Your definitely a newborn. But I can tell your like me. Eat. It will make you feel better."
