Watching the Past

Chapter 2

     The screen showed the inside of a castle. The halls were large and tall. There were endless stairs around.

     "Lord Chibi! King Yugo!" A voice suddenly shouted. The screen switched onto two adult Eliatropes who seemed to be the servants. They ran around, and down the stairs.

     "I'm guessing that the two are the troublemakers." Eva sighed as Flopin laughed hard.

     "Trouble? Like a fight?" Elely exclaimed loudly.

     "Hope not..." Alibert grumbled as Chibi laughed. The little Eliatrope didn't seem to understand the situation, but the others' reactions were funny to him.

     "Sometimes they fight." Vini said. "It is a huge family."

     "Highnesses!" The one with a yellow hat called.

     Then suddenly, two blurbs swooshed down on the stairs next to him.

     "Woohoo!" A young voice exclaimed.

     "King Yugo!" The other servant shouted. "Please come back!"

     "Lord Chibi! That's dangerous!" the first servant screamed.

     The audience was laughing. They were laughing hard.

     "Let's try that sometimes!" Dally exclaimed as Amalia rolled her eyes.

     "No way!" Eva scolded, smacking her husband's head.

     "But it does look fun." Yugo commented. Chibi had stars in his eyes.

     "Oh no..." Alibert said, facepalming.

     It then showed a 15-year-old looking Yugo and Chibi sitting on the stair handles, smirking. Yugo had bandages this time too. He stood up and raised his arms high in the air. Chibi laughed and began to fall back. Yugo kneeled and grabbed Chibi's arm, also falling.

     "Bye!" He called the servants trying to get to him.

     "KING YUGO!" Both servants shouted loudly as the two youngsters jumped off the stairs.

     "You are not doing that!" Eva and Alibert shouted together.

     "What commotion!" Ush exclaimed, taking out his cards.

     "I don't see what's funny!" Armond growled. He smirked secretly, knowing this was a chance to let Amalia down.

     "As a royal, you should act more mature! You must—"

     "Blah blah! Later!" Vini yelled angrily, cutting Armond off.

     Yugo and Chibi fell, both laughing. When they were close to the ground, Chibi took out a device from his pocket and pressed its button. Then all of a sudden, they were slowing down, as if they were wearing a parachute.

     "Impressive." Yugo commented.

     "Yeah, gravity decreaser." Chibi said, looking down.

     "Woah!"

     "That's awesome!"

     "You two really get along well." Coqueline smiled.

     "Yeah, I guess." Yugo said, shrugging.

     'Ah.. I see... If only they knew..." Vini thought sadly.

     They could see green. It was like a garden. The stairs formed the shape of a circle. However, when Yugo accidentally let go of Chibi, he fell.
