Kazuto Kirigaya and his adoptive sister Suguha were eagerly anticipating the launch of the VRMMORPG Sword Art Online. They had pre-ordered their copies of the game, and with the release day approaching, excitement was building worldwide. They had been saving for the NerveGear equipment since before the beta release, anticipating an experience akin to 'Game Over' from Spy Kids 3. The anticipation for the game was palpable everywhere.
In game Kazuto is known as Kirito while Suguha is Leafa.
"Tomorrow will be amazing." Some guy said.
"Yeah, man."
"Akihiko Kayaba is a Genius. A man who revolutionized VR gaming."
"He watches too many movies."
As they watched The Matrix Resurrections on HBO Max, Suguha wished for Kazuto to be her Neo. She smiled, feeling akin to both Bugs and Trinity simultaneously.
"Tomorrow, we log on at 2 in the afternoon." He said.
"Great I'll cancel all plans with my friends so we can play together brother." She said.
"Even meeting with your friend Nagata."
"We might make some friends, in game."
"Sugu what are you say-" Kazuto said as Suguha pulled him in so she could kiss him. She was madly in love with Kazuto so she just kissed him. "Wow."
"I-I'm sorry I was just. For good luck" She responded.
"Mom isn't here so she won't know what we did."
"It'll be like jacking into the Matrix."
"Hopefully nobody cuts the hard-lines."
"Luckily there are no Agents."
"It will be better than Cyberpunk 2077!"
"Or Elden Ring."
"Yeah believe it!"
"Just free your mind."
Tomorrow is gonna be the beginning of something big. You could say that it's a game changer of sorts. They will find love make friends and enemies. Life will never be the same after tomorrow.
