To think that this was nothing but a game to him I was the one to put on that cheer uniform stand out in the field and cheer for someone with a big ego for Mr. so called popular because what he was apart of a football team ? Not only that he always wore that stupid letterman jacket everywhere he went he had to brag about this and that please anyone could do that I could probably pull it off better then he could.

Hero enjoyed always coming up to me every chance he got he tried one thing one day when he was with his friend group and did he think he was smooth? "Nope! It was a total embarrassment I swayed my hips away to irritate him to let him know I wasn't playing around. Of course his friends laughed at him because he failed horrible trying to flirt with me.

I made my way to the library my favorite place in the school my special get away where you could finally get peace and quite. The library was filled with so many books I don't think I could ever get tired of coming here I smile happily as I seen some new books out I made my way checking them out.
"Um excuse me? Are these available to be checked out?

The librarian looks up at me "well Emma first come first serve and I know your always coming in here I definitely know it's your favorite place to be so go ahead she smiles at me. "Thank you I look through the books and read each back to figure out in any interest me.

And that's where it all started with the bet to cheer for hero to only make him look good if I helped him with homework and test. I see hero coming
My way something he's never done before and that's to step foot in a library which I thought that was very odd of him to do being so desperate for.

"Hey Emma so you're good at homework right and studying since you come here often right? I scuff slightly putting my hands on my hips are you trying to say what I hope your not I say sassily. Hero laughs at me what do you mean it was a question are you or not?

"Typical Hero I roll my eyes playfully yes so what if I am I cross my arms over my chest you don't ever come here so what do you want huh?

"Well Emma I was wondering if you could make me look good out there in the field cheer for me I want you to join the Cheer team.

"And what do I get in return if I do this? Actually no you know what .. what makes you think I wanna be a cheerleader hmm?

"Well if you do this for me in return I'll ask you out?
"I'd rather not no thank you be your boyfriend please you already embarrassed yourself at my locker today I smirked at him.
"Ok damn I need help with studying more and with test ok that's why I'm here Emma.

"I knew it! I jump in the air and laugh to myself I thought you were smart mr popular I tease him like he would. "Yeah alright Emma you made your point so will you?

"You got yourself a deal!! I shake his hand I begin to pick up my books and walk out before I can Hero takes my arm gently and I would like to keep this a secret between us ok?

I roll my eyes playfully not saying anything I leave "see you later Mr. popular.
