Just when I thought me and hero would be high school lovers turns out I was completely wrong. When it came to hero being around his group of friends he treated me differently but only when he was around me we were a perfect couple. I tried not to let it get to me too much maybe it was hero just having fun with his friends so I decided to go for a walk to clear my head.

I headed out to enjoy the beautiful weather as I walk down my sidewalk of my neighborhood I sense someone behind me. I turned and see hero running up to me "hey mind if I join you for that walk? I think then stop to look up at him "I don't know can you I said sassily and begin to walk. "Wait what? Emma hold on he follows behind me "did I do something wrong? "What do you think hero I stand crossing my arms and stare up at him.

"I mean.. I don't think so I have been hanging out with you? I groan no that's not what I mean, what I mean is why do you treat me differently around your friends? He laughs slightly Emma you sound crazy I don't treat you differently."Um yeah you do and it's pretty obvious if you ask me. "Ok wait hero says a bit frustrated can you please explain how I treat you differently when I'm around my friends.

"I mean I don't really need to explain it but I guess I will, you sometimes don't act like I exist or don't love on me I don't know!? "Emma chill he laughs we only just started well being a thing ?  I groan loudly you're so confusing never mind I wanna be alone if you're ok with that.

"Fine you be alone then I will leave you to it he walks off into the other direction where I don't follow after him. I hope I don't make the wrong decision falling in love with hero I trusted my gut and if it leads me to heart break then that's on me. I sigh and sit down he could be right or it could me Just protecting myself and overthinking.

I knew he was definitely right about one thing we only had just started to slowly become a thing but what made me a little upset is how he worded it differently. If hero made me question him then maybe I should ask his friends how he feels about me.

I walk off again heading to the nearest park where I see very few friends of hero's playing basketball I slowly walk up to one of them clearing my throat excuse me I yell out. I watch as Felix gets distracted and falls scraping his knee he grunts in pain. I gasp and run to him "oh I'm sorry I didn't mean to be a distraction but I was hoping you could answer some  questions for me.

"Yeah.. and what would that be Felix smirked slightly leaning back holding his knee trying to cover up his pain that he was feeling. "Well how does hero really feel about me we had just become somewhat of a relationship? "At least that's what I think we are it seemed that way when I left his house.

"Whoa you two are together! "Yeah something like that I laugh and blush. "Well... I mean he told us that he used you to be smart and pass classes. I rolled my eyes and face palm well of course he did only hero would do such a thing. "Anyways Felix is there anything else he said about me or anything I sit across from him waiting. "Well he said he likes you a lot and something else about a bet I think.

My stomach instantly feels like I've been kicked and I swallow my lump in my throat a bet... what kind of bet? "Oh fuck actually there is no bet he likes you and want to take you to prom so gotta go he gets up leaving me a worried mess. "Felix! Wait I try to chase after him but he's already gone.
