(Prolog) imagine you and gilinsky are best friends, you never really thought about having a relationship but recently you have seen some changes in him and you're not sure what to do.
(Your POV)
You walked home alone again 3rd day in a row, Jack usually walks with you but recently he has always had something to do or is "too busy" to walk with you. You pass his house his moms outside "hey Y/N could you come give me a hand?" She is carrying in groceries you smile "sure Mrs.G no problem" you say running across the street to grab some bags out of her car. "I haven't seen you around much lately is everything alright? You and Jack get in a fight?" She asks you smile "no not at all Jack has been really busy lately" she frowns "no he hasn't he comes home everyday and just goes up to his room and plays video games. Or walks around complaining because he is bored but when I ask were you are he just says you're busy" you laugh "me busy? Ha I do nothing all day long is he home now?" She nods "yup in his room you can go talk to him if you would like" you nod "I'm going to thanks" you run up the stairs and knock on his door "Come in" you hear the voice you have been missing... You open the door "why have you been lying to me and your mother?" You yell as if rage was just building up. "What are you talking about Y/N I haven't lied I am busy" he says looking at his controller "busy playing games! I thought we were best friends. I guess I was wrong" you yell his face stays fixed on the screen "yeah and I thought you loved me, but looks like we both were wrong, will you just go" you look at him confused. "Love you? Jack you're my best friend of course I love you" you say touching his arm. "Yup that's what I mean" he says moving his arm away. "What are you talking about?" You move in front of the screen and cross your arms "I'm talking about the other night I thought we shared a moment, I thought you were going to confess your love to me...I realized I loved you. And I'm just a friend and this is awkward" he says quietly "omygosh jack you love me?" You move closer to him "yeah I guess I do, do you love me?" He whispers "yeah I guess I do"
