Selena pov
I rush from school to get to the café I've been late 4 times this week and my grandma will kill me if I'm late again. I skateboard down the street dodging a lot of people on the way. People throwing glares. And yelling not nice words my way. I just roll my eyes and come to a stop at the café. I run in and put my apron on and sigh in relief it's only 5 min till my shift. My grandma comes out of the back and gasps sarcastically. "Your here early." Says my grandma. I rolled my eyes playfully. Some People start to come in and I go get there order. The bell rings signaling someone came in. "Welcome to Rosesalinas café. Take a seat and I will be with you shortly." I smile and turn to the person. He has shaggy hair. And he is very attractive. He has a gray v-neck with black sweat pants. I think I've seen him at school. I walk over to him trying not to drool. "Hello! What can I get you today." I ask. "Just a black coffee with milk." He voice deep and smooth. "It will be here shortly." I smile. He gives a weak smile and looks down at his homework. I go to the counter to give my grandma the orders. She's standing there with a goofy grin on her face. I groan. "What?" I asked.
"You got a little drool right there." She says. I quickly put my sleeve up and realize what she's talking about. "Ugh grandma seriously. " I groan. She gives me the coffee. I make my way over. I set it down at his table. He looks up at me a smiles weakly. "Thanks Selena." He says quietly. "You know my name." He laughs a little. And points to my name tag. I laugh. "Oh." I begin to walk away and he calls out my name. I turn around looks at him. "Do you know how to solve x on this equation?" He says slightly embarrassed. I smile and walk over. I spend a couple minutes explaining how to do it and he nods and writes down as I say what to do. "And that's how you solve for x." I grin.
"Thank you. Sorry for bothering you while your working." He says.
"No! It's perfectly fine. I don't even get paid for my work. My boss is very heartless." I say knowing my grandma will hear. I feel a sugar packet hit the side of my face. "I can hear you." She smiles and laughs. "I'm sorry grandma." I laugh. I hear a deep chuckle by me and turn to him and smile. Someone comes in and I greet them and get back to work. At the end of the day I ask my grandma could leave early to head home and she agrees. "Thanks grandma see you at home." I kiss her cheek. I grab my skate board. I feel my phone go off and look down the street and no one was there so I was looking down and texting. I lost my balance and fell waiting for the impact that never came. I open my eyes to see I'm in the arms of the guy in the café. I blush in embarrassment. He sets me down and weakly smiles. "No texting and skating." He chuckles. I laugh. My cheeks still red. "I'm sorry I'm so clumsy." I say looking down. "It's fine see you tommorow." He smiles and jumping on his skateboard with I didn't even noticed he had. And skating off in the opposite direction. "Until tommorow." I say quietly while smiling. "Your so crushing." Says a voice. I turned around fast. Just to see my grandma smirking. "Grandma." i groan. "Come on let's head home. Chester misses me." Yes Chester is my grandmas cat. I jump in her car and head home. Until tommorow.
