While everything was going on with (y/n) and his family. Both Renamon and Herissmon we're outside in a secret location that Herissmon found awhile back. The atmosphere between the two was very quiet and a little awkward that was until Renamon decided to speak.
"I want to thank you."- Renamon
"For what?"- Herissmon
"For helping Rika. You wouldn't had to do that if I wasn't so weak."- Renamon
"What's with you two?"- Herissmon
"Huh?"- Renamon
"You and Rika. It doesn't seem like the two of you are on the same wavelength at all."- Herissmon
"It's mainly Rika, she doesn't seem to understand what it is she really needs. At least that's what I believe."- Renamon
"Let me take a guess, you want what me and (y/n) have."- Herissmon
"It wouldn't be bad to."- Renamon
"Then talk to Rika. The two of you just need to sit down and have a conversation with each other. Alot of problems will disappear by just talking."- Herissmon
"You sure have a lot of wisdom for a digimon your age."- Renamon
"Hehehe, I get it from my master."- Herissmon
"Your tamer?"- Renamon
"No, my master in the digital world. His names-"- Herissmon
"Their you are."- ???
Hearing this new voice both Herissmon and Renamon turned to see (y/n) with a bowl in his hand.
"Yo boss you brought me dinner?"- Herissmon
"Yeah I didn't know if Renamon had stayed or left so I guess the two of you could share."- (y/n)
Herissmon walked over to (y/n) to grab the bowl from his hands. Looking inside it was Herissmon's favorite, Pork and rice.

Seeing the beautiful sight of the pork Herissmon started to drool like crazy. Thankfully (y/n) moved the bowl away from him in time.
"Dude control yourself!"- (y/n)
"Sorry sorry sorry."- Herissmon
"How is Rika? Is she alright?"- Renamon
"Yeah, we're just having dinner you should eat something. Your probably hungry."- (y/n)
"Can't say that I'm not."- Renamon
(Rika's POV)
"So introductions. This is my little sister Emi and this is my mom, Natsuki Ishii. That's pretty much it you get all that?"- (y/n)
".......Yeah."- Rika
"Alright then let's eat."- Ms.Ishii
I can't believe I'm actually doing this, seriously I've never eaten at someone else's house.
"Hey honey can you pass the soy sauce?"- Ms.Ishii
"Sure mom."- (y/n)
"Can you hand me the salt?"- Emi
"Why do you need salt?"- (y/n)
But they do seem like nice people, can't really say the same about my home.
"Rika dear is the food not to your liking?"- Ms.Ishii
"Oh no sorry."- Rika
I looked back at my bowl and grabbed a pair of chopsticks so I can start eating. This is actually pretty good I haven't had a pork bowl in a while. Infact I haven't sat down and at the dinner table with my own family, then again that could be. No stop it this is not the time for that I'll just finishing my meal thank them then leave.
"Hey Rika want to see my drawings?"- Emi
"Huh? Oh um sorry, but I'll probably leave when I'm done eating."- Rika
"Awe please? I want other people other then my brother and mommy to see them."- Emi
"You can stay for a little longer. Mom can drive you home and I can tag along."- (y/n)
"I want to come too!"- Emi
"Emi, you'd have no choice but to come if we did that."- Ms.Ishii
Timeskip
I'm currently outside and was just looking up at the sky. I have to say never thought a kid that young can be so good at drawing. Not only that, but they all seem to have a nice relationship with one another.
"Rika."- ???
I turned my gaze to the left and saw Renamon sitting on the rails.
"Are you alright?"- Renamon
"Yes I'm fine why wouldn't I be?"- Rika
".........did you enjoy yourself?"- Renamon
"I fail to see how that's your business."- Rika
"I was just curious is all. They all seem to be a nice family."- Renamon
"I guess so."- Rika
"Rika, why is it you see him as a rival? You never told me."- Renamon
"It's because he......he......"- Rika
Wait why do I see him as a rival? Other then the fact he beat me in the card game what else is there. I mean there is Renamon and his digi- no that's just an excuse. This is just making me angry I need to get out of here now. I was getting ready to leave until I heard the front door opening and saw (y/n) walk out.
"Hey, you going home?"- (y/n)
"Yeah why?"- Rika
"No reason, just wanted to see if you wanted me to come with."- (y/n)
"I'm not a little kid who can't find their way home. Goodnight."- Rika
'At least I got a goodnight.'- (y/n)
Sorry this took awhile was still thinking about what I want to do with this story. I'm still working on it but like I'm trying to figure out how I'm going to move some stuff around so I can add in my own little stuff. Especially considering I'm going to be adding in a 5th tamer. I mean I already know that some of the other kids become tamers but let's just be fair they're not that important. Not to mention of trying to think about how the relationship between the reader and the other characters are going to be. Especially with his own Digimon, cuz Takato and Guilmon are like the rookie team that's in new to all this. Rika and Renamon are the serious team but the leader has trouble showing their emotions. Henry and terriermonare basically the polar opposite Duo. While the reader and Herissmon are the perfect team that still has room to grow and learn from one another. And this is just the warning I might skip around because as you know the action in this particular Digimon series doesn't start until a while in.
