"THERE YOU ARE BITCH. YOU CAN'T ESCAPE ME NOW."

[Y/N'S POV]

It was dad, he's back with a knife in his hand. He lunged at Carlos before Carlos pushed me aside. Carlos blocked the knife just before it hit his stomach.

Carlos attacked him back, hitting my dad's knee, making him fall back, giving him a chance to attack.

He continued to beat my dad up, I didn't mind because he deserved it. All the pain he made me go through, those attacks are all I need to make him suffer the way he made me suffer.

Carlos stopped beating him up and turned to look at me, he was in relief knowing that no one attacked me while he was busy beating up my dad. He smiled at me, he was about to walk towards me when he stopped. His eyes widened and I saw...

Blood.

There was blood on his stomach, I was shocked, Carlos fell to the ground, revealing my dad.

"NOOOOOOOO!!! CARLOS!" I rushed to Carlos, bringing him up to my arms.

"Now that he's out of the way. Why don't you come back with papi and continue your arranged marriage with Philip?" I glare at him.

I took his knife and stabbed him, he fell to the ground. I stabbed him again.

And again

And again.

And. Again

"Y- Y/N? Carlos?" I heard Dolores say, I look up to her and cried..

"Dolores.. Carlos he-" Carlos. I turned back and saw Carlos leaning on a boulder. Dolores' eyes widened.

"No. No, this wasn't supposed to happen.."

I look at Dolores, "You knew about this..?"

"YOU KNEW ABOUT THIS AND YOU DIDN'T TELL ME??!!" Tears keep streaming out of my eyes.

"I'm sorry Y/N, it never meant to be like this, I didn't mean to make you cry..!"

"YOU LIAR!! LOOK AT WHAT YOU'VE DONE!!"

(I know, it's that tiktok sound)

"I- It wasn't supposes to happen this way..!!! They were threatning to kill YOU!! I couldn't handle hearing or watching Carlos heartbroken!!"

"YET LOOK AT WHERE IT LEAD. HE 'S DYING!!"

"SHUT UP Y/N!! SHUT UP.. shut up" Tears were flowing from Dolores' eyes.

"Now you're crying? This is all your fault Dolores." I pointed out, I heard shuffling noises on the bushes, it was the whole family.

"Y/N!!.... CARLOS?!" Tia Pepa rushed to me and Carlos, "No, No, no, no, no.. Carlos, carino talk to me.. Talk to me..." Tia Pepa cried out, Tio Felix was beside her, trying his best to comfort her.. I just mived away, I couldn't risk seeing the only thing I loved most die.

[Dolores' POV]

I saw Y/N move away and lean on a tree, slowly sitting down at the trunk of the tree while crying. I was just silently crying in the spot where I was the whole time this happened, I can't believe my brother is gone... "Ma.. Ma?" Carlos spoke up, I widened my eyes, he's still alive..! "Carlos! ¡Oh, mi querido hijo, no me asustes así!"

[Carlos! Oh my dear child don't scare me like that!]

"Lo siento mamá, estoy haciendo todo lo posible para mantenerme con vida en este momento." Carlos answered.

[I'm sorry mom, I'm trying my best to stay alive right now.]

Camilo and Mirabel approached me, Camilo giving me a pat on the back while Mirabel hugs me.. They then head to Carlos.

[Camilo's POV]

Dolores was so upset, so Mirabel and I went to comfort her, I gave her a pat on the back while Mirabel hugged her. Before heading to Carlos, I saw Y/N sitting all alone, crying her hearts out without anyone noticing, except for Dolores. "Hey uh, Mirabel? Can you go without me?"  "Umm sure Camilo."

I approached Y/N and heard her sobs, seeing her in pain like this. Shattered my heart. I kneeled down and hugged her, she jumoed a little, but hugged back before confirming it was me who was huggin her.

"Y/N, hermosa, shhh.. Don't worry, I'm here for you.. Just let out your cries..." I comforted..

[Carlos' POV]

Everyone was gathered around me, Tia Julieta went to get some food, I was hanging on to dear life. Literally. I was looking around, searching for Y/N. In an open spot I saw Camilo comforting Y/N, she was crying her hearts out, not even knowing I was still alive. Dolores on the other hand, she was still standing on the same spot as before.

Camilo stood up, and headed towards me. He noticed I was still up and alive then he quickly went back to Y/N.

[Y/N's POV]

"Y/N!" Camilo called out, I looked up to him, "What..? I thought you were gonna go check on Carlos..?" My voice is already cracking. "Carlos isn't dead, he's still alive..!"...

He's still alive..? I looked towards Dolores and saw Tia Julieta running towards the group with a basket of pastries. A few moments later I heard crying and a thunderstorm, it was Tia Pepa.

I just curled up into a ball, Tia Julieta must've healed him... But about my parents...

My dad is dead. I don't know where my mom is. I'm probably gonna be hated by the village by what followed me here. I think I heard Abuela say that the men of my father burned some of the houses.

.... I should just go back to the city. I can't see him get hurt..

Should I leave without telling him?

Or..

Should I leave with him?

My thoughts were interrupted by warm arms wrapping around me. I looked up to see Carlos smiling at me, before I knew it more tears streamed from my eye.

"Sh sh sh amor, I'm alive, see? I'm okay now.." Carlos reassured, but it's not that... I've just decided..

I'm gonna leave this village..
