That morning tails woke up and shouted "sonic there's a letter for you!" Sonic scrambled down stairs half awake and ready it.
Dear Sonic,
Come to the willo willo tree on top of that cliff in three hours

"It's from shadow he wants to talk to me in three hours well I better get ready for the day ahead" he said
-3 hours later-
"Hey shadow"He said "Hi...Sonic" greeted shadow 'wait did he just call me sonic?' sonic thought "So what do you want to talk about?"sonic asked "You see I wanted to tell you something." Shadow answered "Oh yeah,what is it?" Asked the blue hedgehog "Well we've know each other for a long time...as rivals and I want...I...I like you." Shadow said 'Do you like mess friend?Please let it be LOVE.'thought sonic "as a...friend" shadow continued and his eyes widened at what he just said

Asked shadow "Yeah since we first met actually." Sonic said "same here and I'm sorry for hurting you all these years it was to hide my true feelings from you." Shadow apologised "It's ok shadow and I'm sorry for hurting you too." Sonic replied "Lets go round to my house" shadow said and picked sonic up bridal style and he saw sonic blush the he skated back to his house.
