HIS MAID

PART 7

SAMEER'S POV:

We were working at my company with Munna and Pandit. It has been a long time since I came here. I generally prefer to work at home but sometimes we have to come here for checking upon the work and the employees. Since last week and my contract with Mr Parekh leads me here. To be honest I have lots of other works too but then working in this with Mr Parekh would make my fame and reputation stronger in Mumbai. It was lunch time and I proposed my men to go and eat at the nearby restaurant. Once in the restaurant, my phone did not stop ringing. At first I didn't recieve it as the caller id was unknown but then the continuous ring made me so irritated that I ended up answering the call.

"Who is it?" I asked in an annoyed voice and got to hear a high pitched voice from the other side.

" Hi Sameer!" The voice replied.

"Who are you?" I asked again.

" Didn't you recognise me?" The voice said.

I led out a deep breath and replied in an angry tone "I asked who the hell are you, stupid girl, obviously I wouldn't ask if I knew"

"Sameer, its me ! Sunaina" the voice said.

"I don't know any Sunaina! " I was about to hang up when she spoke again.

" Sunaina Parekh, Kya sameer! Tum mujhe bhul gaye!!! I am hurt here!"

I rolled my eyes. Like I care, I said to myself and replied " Hello Sunaina, what do you want?"

Munna looked up at me obviously knowing with which Sunaina I am talking to.

" I just want to know if we can meet someday" she said.

"Why?" I know that I was rude but I wanted to be clear. I didn't like any girl calling and disturbing me for shit like that.

"Honesty jis din hum mileh the uss din utni baat nhi ho payi humari and when I met you last time , I wanted to know more about you. So I thought to call you. Why can have dinner together, what do you think?" She said.

This girl has literally no shame asking me out!!!!

" I can't Sunaina" I said clearly.

"But why, I am sure that you can find just a night for me!" She nagged.

oh my god! I will lose my patience now with this girl. Can't she understand that I don't want to hang out with her.

" I don't have time, and now I am going to have my lunch so I am going to hang up now.

"Ok , this part is postponed now. Bye Sameer" she said.

I cut the call without an answer. I think that she got this number from her father and I bet that she won't stop irritating me before getting what she was talking about. So annoying. Munna and Pandit were staring at me waiting for me to say something, but I remained quiet. We went back to my office. I just hope that we finish our work as soon as possible because I am so tired and tensed regarding it. Munna noticed this and said

"Why don't we go out somewhere this evening as it has been a long time since we went out"

"Good idea for me" pandit said.

"I am tired" I replied.

" Come on mere bhai, u need some distraction, just look at you" Munna stated.

"He is correct and more than that kaal toh sunday bhi hain so u can rest also enough tomorrow" pandit suggested.

I gave up. They are right ofcourse. I looked at them and said "ok let's do that".
