Sonja rushed to the town, James on her tail. She and James had heard ear-splitting screams coming from the church, and decided to investigate. Mianite devotees scattered around the church, scared expressions cast upon their faces. As they arrived, Sonja rushed past the crowd and almost immediately vomited at the sight.

Jordan stood at the priest's altar and in his hand was the head of the decapitated priest. Blood dripped from the head and soaked into Jordan's armour, which only glowed a bright red.

"Jordan!" she cried, cupping her mouth. James caught up to her and immediately shielded Sonja from the offending man.

Jordan threw the priest's head as if it were some measly toy and moseyed up to ten feet from the pair. He laughed and glared at them. "It's been a month, hasn't it?" asked the bloodied man, "I'm sorry, I haven't been keeping track." He laughed more.

James gritted his teeth and glared back at him. "You.. Jordan, you..did this?"

"Use your fucking brain, James." Jordan said, brandishing a sword cast from ardite and netherrack. It glowed a dark shade of red, embers and shades warping from its sharp tip. "To answer your question, yes. I did."

Sonja felt tears run from her eyes. "W-Why?"

Jordan smirked, grinned and laughed. He then shot glares at the pair. Drawing his sword at the two, he lunged, a whisper into the pair's ears, "You'll have to find out for yourself."

James quick drew his spellbook and cast his nether-transport spell. He missed twice at Jordan, and when it did connect, it was when Jordan had cut it with the sword. James took a step back and pushed Sonja out. "Get the others," he cried, casting several Star-Strikes. Sonja ran outside as James followed to escape his own attack.

Jordan confidently lunged and let his armour soak James' spell. He flicked his wrist and hurled the sword at James. Blood spilled everywhere as the sword struck through James' head. He fell, a foot before the exit.

Jordan rose and collected his sword. Sonja had already gone far, he thought. It would be purely a waste of energy if he followed. And there he stayed, at the altar, awaiting his old friends' arrival. He wiped the sword clean and slid it into its sheath. "I'll be waiting," he said, a smile creeping onto his face.

Minutes past, Jordan was impatient. The others have not yet arrived. What had happened? Did Sonja fuck up on the way? Jordan thought, smiling. I wouldn't wonder why.

You're doing better than I expected, a voice thundered from the altar. Jordan fell from his pew and looked up, only now noticing the particles of godly flames that spirit around the altar. "Shut up," grumbled the brunet, "You can bring James back, correct?"

Dianite replied, Yes, I can. The Nether is my domain, after all. I can just take his soul before he mutates into a ghast or pigman. His tone changed, and became of questioning. Would you like me to bring the wizard back?

"Yes," Jordan said, picking himself up.

Why? asked the deity. Why would the man revive the one he took?

"I only had wanted to set an example for the others, but..it doesn't look like they would show up soon." Jordan gazed at the church entrance. The once full street was now empty. "Damnit."

You're becoming an excellent Dianite. Dianite said, Who knew?

"Thank you," Jordan said. He grumbled, looking down, "At least you appreciate me."

I'm not like my sister. Dianite laughed, and with that he 'snapped' two fingers. Immediately, James' body had risen from the ground, his injuries healing. His flesh had refreshened, and it was as if everything Jordan did was undone. Dianite threw the body down, and James awoke.

He rose from his position, and mumbled to himself, "Fuck..what happened?"

Jordan walked up to the wizard and held out a hand. "Yo, Wag." He smiled, and knelt next to the man.

"Jordan?" James called out, reaching for Jordan's hand. It was until a look of realization painted itself onto his face and he quickly retracted his hand. He rolled to the exit, spinning up to stand and held his spellbook at gunpoint towards Jordan.

Jordan laughed and raised his arms as if to surrender. "Whoa, whoa, Wag." He went closer to James. "Why the hostility?"

"Because you fucking killed me, you son of a bitch." James said, gritting his teeth. He glared at Jordan, seething. "Have you already..?"

Jordan cut his laugh and looked at James. "I guess you're obviously against me. To answer your question: no, I have not yet killed the others." He looked up at the altar and said, "Dianite?"

Dianite? James thought, taking a step back.

Dianite's voice thundered, and he replied. What?

"Put a leash on the boy." Jordan ordered, and a choker, glowing of red energy, enveloped James' neck and chained itself to a buckle in Jordan's belt. "You're going to be the example."

"The fuck?" James mumbled, tugging at the choker.

"For the time being, you're going to my fucking pet." Jordan went closer to James and tugged at the chain. He snapped his fingers and immediately James was sent next to Jordan, kneeling and clad in nothing but the choker. Jordan knelt to James' level and smiled. "We're going to have some fun."
