chapter Fifteen
Rain tapped against the metal ceiling of the warehouse as I began to suit up. Black circles bore around my eyes. A twisted black smile on my face and my sledge hammer in hand as I began to smash everything in sight. Pain. Terror. Rage. The only emotions I felt.
Dolly wants to play a game.
TARIX P.O.V
I had every agent in Gotham stand guard my apartment complex. Snipers at every corner. I know I shouldn't be this paranoid but who knew what Harley could be capable of now. I tried to relax in my seat in front of joker who was still chained to my wall. He looked sick. His face was sulken into and his body was almost skin and bones.
"she's going to kill you..." he croaked out.
I raised an eyebrow to him. How is that even in his weak state he still had hope that she would come for him.
"the moment she steps foot in front of this complex she will be shot down by one of my snipers. " I snarled.
" you are so-"
" shots have been fired T! She is too.." silence fell from my radio.
" report anyone!? Tell me you have shot her down!!!."
Again silence.
I bit my lip and swallowed the lump in my throat. How could this be. Where are my men.?
" HAHAHAHA... TARIX... Oh TARIX..." her voiced mocked me.
I hesitated before I could respond.. "Harle-"
"Listen very carefully TARIX. I'm not happy you locked me away from Mista Jay, or how you pretended to be my friend. Waaah" she mocked.. " and it wasn't very nice that you tried to make those men shoot me.. Very mean of you. HAHAHAHA. " she began to laugh hysterically. It sent shivers down my spine.
" all those men's blood are in your hands TARIX... But yours will be in mine very soon... Can you feel me? Can you feel my hands ripped out your heart? " I looked around the room beginning to panic and started to block up the door. Shots began to fire and I heard all my men scream out in pain. I could just imagine what was going on up there. But I had to stay my ground. She was going to die tonight not me.
" TARIX... Im coming for you." the radio became silent.
All that I could was my heart pounding and joker silently laughing to himself.
" I told you. Now you upsetted my dolly." he laughed harder.
I had enough of the clown. I grabbed my knife and held it to his neck while hold his hair back.
" it's going to take her a little while to get down here and break down that barrier. I could just kill you right now than everything she did was for nothing. She would have..."
HARLEYS P.O.V
"TARIX...im coming for you.. " I threw the radio to the side. All of her men stood all over the floor covered in there own blood. Some had parts of a lamp stuck through them, others were thrown out the window. I knew TARIX would find a safe heaven in her basement, but I knew she would be stupid enough to not block the secret tunnel escape route.
I walked down the flight of stairs that lead to the back lot of the apartment complex and walked into a sewage tunnel that would lead me back to the basement. The sewage water to my ankle and I dragged my sledge hammer alongside with me.
Adrenaline coursing in my veins I only had thought to kill this bitch and the blood last was itching away at me I began to walk faster until I finally heard her voice become clearer at each walking moment.
I carefully unlocked the door behind the cabinet she had so it would disguise the tunnel. And quietly made my move. As I moved from the cabinet I locked eyes with joker and gave him a a huge smirk, than with everything I had, I lifted my sledgehammer and knocked it towards TARIX that sent her flying sideways.
She looked up in fear as she coughed up blood. I couldn't make put the words she was saying, I just began beating the bloody pulp put of her with my hammer, i smashed in her head until it was unrecognizable, her blood splattered all over my face. And I was in sweet blissful joy.
" are you going to let me free dolly? " he grunted from his chains.
I got up and ran into the love of my life arms. He looked so weak and I just wanted to take care of him. I began kissing all over his face and held him in my arms. Tears wanting to escape but I wouldn't let them.
" I've missed you" he whispered.
" I've missed you too" I choked.
" untie me please" he whispered.
I unlocked the chains around his wrist and legs and he bounced on top of me with a kiss.
" My melody..." he nuzzle around my neck.
" My jack.." the tears now spilling from my eyes.
" who knew you would have this in you.." he smirked.
" I guess our world's have finally met in the middle, haven't they Mista Jay. " I teased.
Jacks eyes soften and he began to pull me up to his lap where he began to wipe some of the blood off my face.
" Melody..." he cooed.
"hmm?" I gazed into him.
"Marry me" He whispered against my lips.
" Yes."
