Chapter 9: They Look Like... Freaks

Sunday morning came and the loud alarm clock rang from Itsuki's room. Everyone scrambled awake after the alarm clock rang thrice.

Today is the day. Weekly quiz. And what's worse is that it's on a Sunday. It meant that there was no rest day for the Akatsuki's.

"Hurry up Kaisei, we're going to be late," Hōzuki rushed.

"I regret drinking that much alcohol," he complained groggily.

Finally, everyone was ready to go. They walked past the Todoroki's abode and saw Fuyumi watering the plants.

"Good morning, Fuyumi," they greeted.

"Good morning! Eh? You're going to school? Today is Sunday you know," she watched them in disbelief.

"Yeah, we're aware today is Sunday. We have tons of quizzes to take," Itsuki fake cried.

Soon after, the quartet parted ways with the female Todoroki and walked to school in silence.

Half an hour later, they finally reached the campus. The school was quiet, and not a single soul was seen around. This only irritated the Kirin further.

They made their way to class and they were right on the dot. All Might soon arrived and he shared a quick conversation with his students.

"I'm glad you came today," he smiled.

"We're not that bad to ignore our teacher's instructions. Besides, it takes great effort to create quizzes for students," Yozora reassured him.

"Are you really delinquents like Principal Nezu said?" He questioned aloud.

'No', the four students answered mentally.

"What happens if we fail the quiz?" Hōzuki asked.

"The passing mark is 40. If you fail, then you would have to stay for remedial classes the following week," All Might explained.

"No way! That's illegal," Kaisei shrieked.

Itsuki only smiled to himself, honestly, he was anything but stupid. His personality was similar to his spirit, wise, it was contradicting to his usual act of fooling around.

"The first topic is Japanese History B and 0. There will be two parts of the quiz, it's a short one so only twenty minutes will be given. Then afterwards, you will have a ten minutes break before proceeding to the next one," Midnight explained before handing out the paper.
