you grit your teeth and grab hold of just as many people as you could before you get flinged right off the train, you see everything go black as you hit the ground.
you could only pray that everyone else made it out safe.

YOU GROAN QUIETLY AS YOU'RE AWAKEN BY POKING TO YOUR FOREHEAD.
you open your eyes, revealing kyojuro staring down at you with a large smile, "are you alright?"
you nod and sit up before looking around, people were lying all over the ground, some just passed out while some with minor injuries, but nothing too major.
there were also a small group of people by you, you guess they're the ones you had grabbed.
you look up slightly, the moon seemed to be at its peak as the constellations glimmer in the sky.
you stand up, "we should move everyone to one spot"
kyojuro nods and you both seperate and bring people over to a nice small grassy hill.
you walk over to the people you had thrown out of the train, placing one over each shoulder, one on your back, and one in your arms.
you shuffle slightly, trying to get them comfortable before walking over to the small hill.
you place all four of them down gently before running back and getting the other people.
once you had gotten everyone, you scanned over all their wounds.
"nothing too major! they'll all survive" kyojuro smiles widely like usual.
you nod and take out a roll of bandages you had in your pocket before crouching down in front of someone with a small gash on their arm. you unroll the bandages a bit before starting to wrap them tightly around his arm, you continue that process for all the injured people before standing up again.
you turn to kyojuro, "are you injured at all?"
he shakes his head with a proud smile, "now, come on. let's go check on kamado and the others!"
you nod and follow behind him, walking over to zenitsu and nezuko.
zenitsu was asleep on the floor while nezuko was lying next to him, you smile slightly and check over if they have any wounds.
you turn to kyojuro and shake your head, indicating they have no wounds.
he nods and you both walk over to where tanjiro was passed out on the ground, your eyebrows furrow as you grin your hip slightly, a sudden pain going through you.
you just take a deep breath and ignore it before walking over to kyojuro and tanjiro.
kyojuro was standing over a now awake tanjiro.
"it looks like you can do total concentration: constant!" kyojuro says boisterously like usual.
"i'm impressed!"
you walk over slightly, analysing tanjiro's stomach wound.
it looks like he got stabbed with one of those things the people in our dreams had.. was there another one?
"rengoku-san..? [name]..?"
"that's the first step to becoming a hashira! but that's just the first of 10,000 steps yet to come!"
"i'll do my best.." tanjiro says awkwardly, you run your hand through your ponytail, finding it messy you sigh, reaching back and taking the hair elastic out of your hair, letting your multi-coloured hair down before putting it an simple low ponytail.
"your stomach is bleeding." kyojuro points out, "concentrate more. improve the accuracy of your breath. focus on every inch of your body."
you step a bit closer as tanjiro starts talking deep breaths, "there are blood vessels. broken blood vessels. concentrate more" kyojuro narrows his eyes as tanjiro tries to focus on closing the wound.
he grunts slightly and seems to be struggling, kyojuro places a finger on his forehead, tanjiro looks up.
"concentrate."
you sigh a small breath of relief as the bleeding stops, "that's it. no more bleeding."
tanjiro pants slightly.
"there're lots of things you can do if you can master your breathing. that doesn't mean you can do anything. but you'll be much stronger than you were yesterday."
tanjiro blinks, "..yeah"
kyojuro smiles brightly, "everyone safe! a lot of injuries, but no deaths. no need for you to overdo it."
your head snaps up as an overwhelming feeling of dread fills your stomach, you gasp quietly as a large explosion of sorts comes from just a bit ahead of you all.
you look through the dust, standing there was yet another demon.
except this one just looked more intimidating.
he had pure white skin with blue lines all over his body, but his most noticeable feature was his glowing yellow eyes with a large 'upper three' engraved.
