That's it. It's official. School. FUCKING. Sucks. Simple as that. A C+ on your project?! You got all of your fucking information from Gonner himself! Ugh, and that wasn't even the worst part of the day! You couldn't stop thinking about him. Your heart fluttered every time you thought about last night, it was annoying... but in the best way possible.

You walked up your porch stairs and looked at the woods. You smiled and headed inside. You walked upstairs into your room and greeted pig. The little guy was fast asleep. You knelt down onto your bed and kissed him on the head before grabbing your, what you called "graveyard pack", and headed out. You knew it was early and that Gonner was probably still asleep, but you knew Isis was up. Last night Isis had informed you that it was traditional for her to wake up early and help her family do chores to raise money, and she never really broke the habit.

You maneuvered your way through the grave yard to Isis and Gonner's tombs. There you saw Isis sitting on a log with a bandage roll in her hand, wrapping her leg and mumbling curses under her breath.
"Isis! Hey! What happened?" You asked.
"Harsomtus Christ Y/N! You scared the shit out of me!" Isis laughed. "Last night I tripped over a rock and some of my bandages caught on fire. Luckily, Gonner came back from your guys' walk just in time. Thank Horus!"

   "Glad you're ok Isis!" You said. "Anyways, is Gonner sleeping?" You asked.
    "Lol no. Gonner doesn't really do sleep. On his ship, nobody slept much. Maybe 15 hours a week, but that was called 'Slacking'. He got an hour or two but as far as I know he just left this little note saying that he went into the woods for food." Isis replied. "Didn't you ever notice those ghastly circles around his eyes?" She asked.
    It made sense, those weren't any normal eye bags.

   "Thanks for letting me know. I'll go looking for him in a bit." You said.
   "Ok.... Sooooo... how'd it gooooo???" Isis asked impatiently. You let out a small chuckle before blushing like a freshly ripe tomato.
  "We're dating!" You said excitedly. You and Isis both let out a small squeal.
"He totally has a thing for you!" Isis said. " I don't think he's been this happy since his Ex Boyfriend, Jamie." She said.
"Wait?! What?! Gonner is Gay?!" You asked.
"Gurl you are so damn dim." Isis said ashamed. "No, Gonner is Pansexual. And Jamie was Gonners secret boyfriend in the 1500's." She said.
   "Oh... huh..." You said.

You and Isis talked for a while before you went off to look for Gonner. Isis told you his favorite spot to look for food was the berry bushes just down the path from the cemetery. You followed the path as you were instructed and sure enough you came across some insanely tall berry bushes. You tore through the bushes looking for Gonner.
   "Ow! Shit!" You whispered under your breath. A thorn had wedged itself into your finger. You picked at it for a minute before leaving it and deciding you would take it out at home with tweezers. You continued to make your way through the bushes, being more careful this time.

   After only a minute or two of walking through the tall bushes you found a small clearing, and on the other side was Gonner picking some berries. You walked up behind him. All the sudden a very loud crack sound was made and you looked down and realized you had stepped on a twig. As soon as Gonner heard the snap he tackled you to the ground and held a small knife to your throat.
  "Who the..." Gonner started angerly. He then realized it was you and his eyes grew weary.

"Lass!" He shouted worried. "Did I hurt ye?! I'm so sorry! Old habits ye see!" Gonner said panicked. You reached up and touched your neck and looked at your hand. Blood. You touched the wound more and realized it was just a small cut. Your eyes still welled with tears though. Gonner helped you up.
"Hold on," Gonner said. He then pulled a small flask out of his pocket. He opened the lid and went to pour the mystery liquid on your wound. Of course, he did just pull a knife on you, but you still trusted him. The liquid hit your skin and you yelped. It stung and burned like nothing you had ever felt before.
