RECAP

Pierre just nods, still slightly disoriented by sleep. She seems to notice this and takes his things to put into the car. Willow leads him to the backseat as Alyssa climbs into the passenger seat. As soon as Pierre sits down, he's taken back into the warmth of sleep.

------

The next time Pierre woke up, he was being shaken. Which wasn't too odd, as his sister had a tendency to wake him like that. What made it odd was the fact that this was Willow, not Alyssa. Though Pierre decided that his sister told her to shake him awake, "You awake now, sleepy head?" He hears his sister's teasing tone. Yeah, she definitely sent Willow to shake him.

"Do you need help unpacking?" Pierre asks, noticing that they arrived at the motel. It was a rather nice motel, with a big house behind it. The giant sign said 'Bates Motel', so he assumed that was the Bates' house. Alyssa nods, before bringing the bags she had to a room. Questioning when they had gotten a room, he realized that they must have done it while he was asleep.

Getting out of the car, Pierre goes to the trunk. Once all of their bags are out of the trunk, Pierre starts walking to the room. Once closer to the room however, he sees his sister talking to someone. He decides that it isn't his problem and continues to the room. The doors open so he just walks right in, placing the things onto the beds. Pierre hears his sister call for him, so he gets up and goes to the door, where he sees that the person she was talking to before is still there.

"This is Pierre, my little brother-"

"She's only a few minutes older." Pierre chimes in. Alyssa just turns to him, glaring before turning back to the male.

"Anyways this is Pierre, the one with pink hair is my girlfriend, Willow. And I'm Alyssa. Pierre, this is Norman Bates. He helps his mom run this place." Alyssa continues, offering a small smile to Pierre. However, Pierre knows that look. It's the look that she always used when she would point out boys and girls in the hallway at school. "I thought it would be a good idea for you to get to know him. Who knows maybe he'll help you not be so anti-social." Alyssa adds on, with a joking tone.

"I wouldn't call myself anti-social. But it would be nice to have some company other than you and Will." Pierre says, looking at his sister with a look, one that she gets a lot. It's one that says to stop trying to get him with random people, as Pierre prefers to not date someone that just wants to get into his pants. He looks over Norman, trying not to look like he was judging him. Norman had a somewhat casual style, with a simple sweater over a button up. How he wasn't sweating to death was definitely a good question.

"Well, it's nice to meet you, Pierre. Would you like to see the garden?" Norman asks, avoiding eye contact. He fumbled over his words a little, as if he wasn't used to talking to people. Pierre just nods, afraid that if he spoke, he would embarrass himself. Norman nods, then gives a quiet 'let's go', paired with the wave of his hand.

The two boys set off down a path, where after a few moments they turn and see the garden. It was a nice garden, one with many flowers and fruits. Pierre even thought he saw an orange tree. There was a woman there, hunched over a strawberry patch. From what Pierre could see, which wasn't a lot, the woman was blonde and was wearing a blue polka-dot skirt, paired with a light blue blouse. As if on cue, the woman turned around, spotting the two on the path. She smiled and waved at Norman and Pierre, then beckoned them over. When the two got to her, she was already extending a hand to Pierre.

"Hi, I'm Norma." The woman, Norma, says. Their hands meet and for a quick second, Pierre feels like there's more to her than she gives off. Then, as quickly as he felt it, it was gone.

"Pierre, nice to meet you Mrs. bates." Pierre responds, smiling gently at Norma. He takes a look around, admiring the condition the garden is in. "Lovely garden you have here." Pierre compliments, putting on his 'Customer Service' voice. However, it was more real, as if he actually cared about what she thought of him. It was because of Norman, as she is his mother, he decides.

      Definitely not anything else.
