"Sunny, why do I feel that you are holding back? Are you not happy that I am back? Have I come too late?" They were on their way back walking hand in hand as she popped the question.
He knew that this question would come sooner or later. He hesitated at first but decided on honesty. "Ladoo, I am afraid" she stopped in her tracks surprised as he continued softly " I am afraid of driving you away. From the day we met all I can think is you. I didn't want to scare you with my unhealthy obsession" Looking at him softly she held is face gently, caressing his cheeks she reassured "Sunny, nothing not even you can drive me away" with a tinge of laughter she continued " If this is unhealthy I don't know what mine will be called. have lived 8 yrs knowing I will come back. This University was giving destiny it's chance to make me meet you."
Kissing her forehead softly he held her, his forehead touching hers.
Words unsaid and feelings unnamed, the two childhood friends stood savouring this moment as the wall finally broke.
