Chapter 4

Today was a very important day for George and Ringo, today was the day they were going to find out the sex of their child "C'mon Geogie my darling, It's time to get up" Ringo said in a sing songy voice as he shook George awake, George soon sat up and wiped the sleep out of his eyes, he was about to say something when he held up his hand and ran to the bathroom. When he came back he continued "What time is it?" he asked, his voice very raspy "It's almost 10, c'mon Brian will be here soon to take us to the doctor" so George had a shower and got ready for the day, they had just finished breakfast when Brian walked in "Morning lads, you ready" they both nodded and they made their way to the car where to their surprise Martin was waiting for them "Morning lads, I told the board I had a family emergency so I could come with you guys, anyways let's go" he said as he drove off toward the hospital.

They arrived around 30 minutes later due to traffic, they all went inside and sat down and Brian went to reception to check George in. He came back to find a nervous looking George holding Ringo's hand like his life depended on it. Around 10 minutes later the doctor came out "George Harrison" he read off the clipboard he was holding, Brain went in with George like they discussed as to not raise the suspicion of the people in the waiting room. When they left Ringo began to grow very nervous, Martin noticed this "Hey, It's going to be ok we can trust doctor Robert as he was our doctor when we had Zach" he explained calmly, ringo just nodded and started to steady his breathing. After a while he spoke up "I just with I could be in there with him y'know" Martin gave him a supportive smile "I know but hey, Brian's in there with him so he's not alone" Ringo just nodded, he was just about to get up and get some fresh air when the doctor came out "uh Mr. Starkey?" Ringo looked to Martin for permission and he nodded so Ringo walked towards the doctor "Uh yea?" he was freaking out, 'was something wrong' he thought to himself "George would like to see you" he smiled at Ringo who sadly couldn't smile back thinking something was terribly wrong. He followed the doctor leaving Martin in the waiting room, when they got to the room George was in to find him sitting with his head in his hands, without thinking he rushed over to Georges side "Georgie darling what's wrong?" he asked worriedly, George looked up at him with tear stained cheeks and a huge smile on his face "It's a girl Rings!" he shouted as he flung his arms around his lover "I- Ohmygod" Ringo was at a loss for words.

Brain and Martin dropped the boys back off at home around 1pm "we'll be back later as always" Brain told them as they drove off. The boys headed inside "Do you want some tea luv?" Ringo asked "Nah, thanks tho" George smiled "I'll tell you what I do want though Rings" he said as he grabbed his lover's hand and led him to the bedroom.

About 40 minutes later they emerged from the bedroom to find Brian on the couch smirking at them "Hello boys" he chuckled "Oh- I- Uh- Hi?" the boys managed to stutter out. Brain made his way over to the kitchen "You lads decided to give me a key remember" he laughed as he made them all a cuppa, George was very uncomfortable and Ringo could tell so he changed the subject "Where's Martin?" Brain looked up from the bench "Oh, he went to pick up Zach" he replied then went back to making the tea.

Once Martin came back they had dinner and talked for an hour. When they went to leave Zach started crying "Oh baby what is it?" Brian soothed as he picked him up "I no go!" he started crying harder, the other four just looked at each other, Zach had never stayed anywhere overnight before "You want to stay for tonight?" Martin asked him as he rubbed his back and Zach just nodded and cried harder. Martin looked to George and Ringo and they nodded so it was decided Zach was staying the night. After ten minutes of Brian and Martin being protective parents they left "Right Zach, bath?" George asked as he crouched down to Zachs level "Baf!" the two boys chuckled as Ringo went to run the bath "Uh Georgie darling" Ringo called out, George came in with Zach on his hip and god did he look cute "Yes luv" he smiled as he set Zach down on the floor "he doesn't have a change of clothes" Ringo stated simply, George just nodded "well I'll go and call Brian" George said as he left the room "Looks like it's just you and me now Zach" Ringo chuckled as he sat on the floor to play with Zach.

A few minutes later George came back with some clothes "and where pray tell did you get those'' Ringo laughed "well I went to call Brian but then he walked in and gave me Zachs clothes'' George smiled as he carefully walked over the two other boys and ran the bath.  Once the bath was ready they put Zach in and handed him some things they could use for toys. They sat with Zach for ages just relishing in the moment "this is so fun Rings, I can't wait till our little girl is born" George sighed as he leant into Ringo "Neither can  Georgie, neither can I" Ringo replied as he kissed George on the head "Now, let's get young Zacharony out of the bath before he ends up as wrinkly as an old man" Ringo said playfully as he scooped Zach up and dried him off, George then helped him put the clothes on which proved to be a difficult task as they had no idea what they were doing.

Once they got Zach dressed they went and put him to bed, they put him in bed with them as they didn't have any other beds at this stage. George and Ringo got changed into their pjs and got into bed, they told Zach a bedtime story and watched him as he drifted off to sleep "Goodnight Zach"
They waited half an hour before they too went to sleep "Goodnight Ringsy, I love you" "Goodnight Gorgie my darling, I love you more"

George's POV
I woke up and stared at the ceiling for a bit, I turned my head and looked at Ringo, god he even sleeps like an angel but then I noticed that Zach wasn't in between us "Shit! Ringo, wake up!" I yelled trying to get his attention "Hmph, what do you want geo" damn he's so cute when he's sleepy "Zachs not in bed! C'mon!" I yelled as I walked out into the hallway. I looked in every room and I couldn't find him, I was starting to panic but then I heard a glass smash, I ran into the kitchen and there he was "Shit! Zach are you alright?" I ran up to him and inspected his hand, no cuts or anything which was good "I onwy waned a dwink, I sowy" he looked so traumatized, poor we lad "Hey it's ok, as long as you're ok?" he nodded "How about I take you back to bed and I clean this up yea?" he nodded again so I picked him up and took him to Ringo who was searching the bathroom "Found him luv" I chuckled "Here ya go Zach, I'll be right back" I then gave him to Ringo and went into the kitchen to clean up the smashed glass. 

I chuckled as I walked into the kitchen to find glass everywhere. Once I finished cleaning up I heard a knock at the door "coming!" I yelled as I walked towards the door, when I opened it I found John and Paul "oh uh hey guys" I stepped back to let them in "jesus geo, you've gotten big" John joked "fun fact, you're not allowed to say that to a pregnant woman or in this case man" Ringo butted in from the hallway which made all four of them chuckle "where's Zach?" I asked when I noticed he was nowhere to be seen "I'm right here!" he yelled running down the hallway "why do you guys have Zach?" Paul asked "oh, he didn't wanna go home last night so Brian and Martin let him stay" I stated simply "y'know I'm still getting used to the fact that our 'friends' are our teachers" John chuckled and we all started laughing.

John and Paul stayed all day which was really fun and we both enjoyed their company. Zach got picked up around lunch time and they said they'd be back later which wasn't necessary but it was now having parent figures I guess you could say.
John and Paul went home around four thirty, we thanked them for coming over and said our goodbyes making sure to catch up again within the next week. After Brian and Martin left Ringo and I went to bed and watched a movie, we then fell asleep in each other's arms "goodnight my love" "goodnight Georgie darling"

I apologise, this chapter isn't the best. I'm gonna have some time skips in the next one to move the story along a bit.
