Jerome stirs in his sleep, his arms reach for me and I let them pull me close.
Behind me, Donny sleeps soundly and he should... the sun is still to rise, I try my best to settle Jerome before Donny wakes.
I kiss Jerome's jaw, long and sleepy, my arms wrap around his chest and I rest my head on his shoulder, but I keep my legs tangled with Donny's, he loves being the big spoon.
Jerome let's out a breath and I feel his chest relax, his hand crawls up to my hair and he kisses my forehead.
He doesn't speak, I'm not even sure he's awake even a little, but it seems my nearness has done the job.
With my eyes closed and my breath slow, I hear Jerome quietly start to snore, he's still and calm now my breath is on his neck.

It's no big deal, I think to myself.
Everyone likes to know they're not alone when things get scary. It doesn't mean there's an emotional attachment happening here.

"Thea...." Jerome mumbles in his sleep. "So perfect, sweetheart" he nuzzles into my hair with his face and kisses me once more.

Okay...
Maybe a little emotional attachment... it's not like the fact he thinks about me in his sleep has my heart skipping a beat and my hands caressing his body... oh wait, yeah it does.

Fuck!
Why does he have to feel so good?
His skin, even bruised is pure silk and muscle, his size it's exactly the right fit for my arms length.
Damn him and sexy smell.... That smile... those blue eyes.

I tell myself to go back to sleep, I'm overthinking things.
I take Donny's hand and I drape it around my body, I place his palm over my boob and he squeezes. Donny's hips inch closer and he sighs.... He's a perfect fit, it's Thea and Donny... always.

The sounds of birds outside my window raise me from the dead... I feel tired, so tired. Not a great start to the weekend, I'll have to nap again before I go out.
I take a deep breath before I open my eyes, the scent of Jerome and bacon fill my lungs. I become aware that both Jerome's arms are wrapped around me and my body is wrapped around him, my leg hitched over his stomach and my face in his neck.
There's a cold draft behind me and I already know Donny is up and out of bed... cooking breakfast by the smell of things.
I try and lift my head but Jerome holds me down to kiss my forehead, his breath is calm and slow, our eyes meet and though his are heavy and just as tired, damn he looks happy.
I see him the way was yesterday, from between my legs, I see the fire in his eyes and I remember the way he casually massaged my feet last night throughout an entire movie, I hear the way he called my name in his sleep.
I try and hide my blush with a smile.

"Morning, sweetheart" he smiles back at me.
"Hey" I croak, not sexy... just awkward and cringey.
"I should kick Don out of bed more often, this cuddle feels incredible" he smirks as his hands caress my body.
"We've actually been cuddling long before Donny got out of bed, but thanks.... Leech is my specialty" I blush.
"God, you're beautiful in the mornings" he chuckles and takes a finger to adjust my hair from my eyes.
"Sure, but your sexy hangs around all day" I smile back, our faces are so close and our bodies so relaxed.
"Where's Don?" Jerome tilts his head to listen for any clues.
"My guess, wherever that delicious smell is coming from"
"Then you'd be wrong, if either of you could take your eyes off each other, you'd see I'm right here" Donny chuckles and I lift my head to see him leaning against the door. "I thought I heard voices, you two are finally awake" he straightens, and holding a breakfast tray he climbs up onto the end of the bed.

"Finally? What time is it?" I frown but sit up to lean in and kiss the best boyfriend in the whole wide world.
"Eleven" Donny breathes and kisses me deeper.
"Eleven... shit!" I groan.
"Got somewhere to be?" Donny laughs, the asshole.
"The mall... I need a dress..., I need a shower... I need coffee" I panic.
"First things first" Donny laughs and looks down my naked body now that the sheet has fallen away, both eyes are open and hungry and he licks his lips, then exhales. "How's that head today?" He strokes my hair gently.
"It aches, it's dull... manageable" I shrug and caress the slightly puffy flesh under his healing eye, it's just a little bloodshot and the skin is still dark, but so much better than it was.
"Good" he examines my face, my reactions to his next words. "And inside?" He whispers with sensitivity.
"Ahh...?" I shrug. "I've barley had my eyes open a minute... I don't know yet, okay I guess?" I answer honestly, because he's being so sweet and we're always honest, before everything else.
"Well, until you do know, I want you to take it easy... no rushing, you had a pretty significant panic attack yesterday. I don't want you adding to your stress about silly things like dresses" he tells me, supportive but stern.
"You know I'm starting to stress that the bacon is going cold" I smile, hopefully adorably at the sweetheart.
"Don't you want to blow the candle out first?" Donny laughs at how weird I am.
