ESTELLE'S POV:

Turns out we're not in a coffee shop we're in a diner,
so We can't just order at the front. That gives me more time to talk to the library boy.

He still refuses to tell m his name for some reason, maybe he's a criminal or a secret spy. I'm starting to regret going somewhere with a stranger.

He looks really put together, so I'm not that scared. Plus I'm a ninja, I can take anybody out with one hit even if they look like they could be taller than a tree.

Probably not.

"You know it would be so much easier to have a conversation with you if you'd tell me your name," I told him. Maybe he has an embarrassing name.

He still had a glare on his face but it cooled down a bit, he had one of his hands balled into a fist, the other hand was wrapping his fist. His elbows are on the table with his Chin resting on his hands.

The position shows off the tattoos and rings.

He closes his eyes for a second before reopening them. "Federico" he finally cleared the air. His eyes stared at me waiting for a reaction.

"Federico"  I repeat his previous statement, making sure to roll the 'R'. His name rolled off my tongue like silk.

He cleared his throat and shifted uncomfortably in his seat, making his hands drop off the table into his lap in the process.

"I think your name is pretty," I announced my opinion even though he didn't ask for it.

"I'm Estelle," I held out my hand for him to shake it, his eyes shift to my hand and back up to my eyes, I slowly retracted my hand knowing he wasn't going to shake it.

"Do you have a nickname? Your name is kinda long." I told him honestly. I don't mind saying it but I'm not good at pronouncing names or remembering them.

He gave me a deadpan look.

"You know, a name that your friends call you?" I clarify, he probably doesn't have friends because of his attitude, but I'm not going to jump to conclusions.

"No"

I slightly flinch not thinking he'd answer. I wonder how someone's voice can get so deep.

I cross my arms and put them on the table excitedly. The only other person I've given a nickname to is Atticus but it's not in English.
