Chapter 10: Home sweet Sweet

*Brooks POV*

I dashed across the damp grass. By the look of how bright it is, i'm guessing its around 7 AM. Slowly from the fog I saw my house start to appear. I pushed my legs to go even faster, the ache in my legs growing stronger. My front door was locked so at least I knew Sam remembered to do that. I climbed the tree that was next to mothers room.

When I got my body into the house I collapsed to the floor. My body fell limp on the floor making a loud thump, causing Sam to dart up the stairs. Sam slamming open the door caused a bang to echo throughout the room. The second he saw me he enclosed me in a giant hug. I felt the air being squeezed out of me.

"Sam!!" I yelled. Giving him an equally as powerful hug.

"Brook!!!" He yelled back. I could feel his tears dampening my shoulder. I pulled away to look at him, There was so much agony on his face just looking at his face made me want to die. Knowing I was the reason for his pain.

*Sams POV*

I-I thought Brooke was dead they said I was to late but shes here. I hope i'm not imagining things. Things are finally looking up, I went back to hugging her with all my might, squeezing the life out of her.

"Where have you been?!" I screamed. Watching her flinch back a bit the action made me feel instantly felt sad.

"I had been kidnapped! What were you expecting me to do, just wait for you to find me!

" I've been looking for months! Do you think I would just abandoned you just when it gets bumpy!?! Wow now I really know how much you trust me!" The look of anger and hurt spread across my face. Does she really think I'll stop looking for her just after?

"Come on let's just go and celebrate your return. I'd rather not fight with you just after I got you back." I suggested.
"Sure." She smiled. Taking her hand in mine we make our way to the cafe in the center of town to bring the news.
