Misty and the March of the Oni (Ninjago)

The Fall 97

"You, you are oni what haven't you taken this realm?" Omega demanded to know.

"Well I-- it's complicated," Garmadon said and then added, "Enough talk. Let's get this over with!"

Lloyd tried to use Spinjitzu to attack Omega but Omega sent Lloyd slamming into the wall again. Garmadon was then also thrown against the wall.

"Is that the worst you can do? I'm growing bored" Garmadon said and he stood up and blasted magic at the Oni. But the Oni deflected the blast and it made a hole in the wall behind Garmadon and Lloyd.

Lloyd was blasted into a different room. But Lloyd came running back, with the Sword of Sanctuary. He tried attacking Omega again but was once more thrown against the wall.

"So am I! How did you ever defeat me in the first place," Garmadon shouted and he tried blasting the Oni again with his magic. But the oni then raised Misty up and forced her to take the blast instead. Misty cried out when the blast hit her. And Omega then threw Misty back behind him. Where the girl fell to the ground in a heap.

"Misty!" Lloyd shouted he had gotten to his feet.

Misty shook her head and said, "Focus on what we came here to do!"

Lloyd then ran toward the realm crystal he jumped up and brought his sword down on the crystal shattering it. And landed beside Garmadon with a smug smile on his face.

"It took you long enough!" Garmadon scowled

"Oh come on that was awesome!" Lloyd shouted

"It was adequate!" Garmadon snapped back.

"Fool! The Realm Crystal was merely the key, by which we opened the gateway. Destroying it will accomplish nothing!" Omega said Misty was staggering back to her feet.

"You said it would stop them!" Lloyd shouted

"Well, I..." Garmadon said

"Well, what?" Lloyd shouted

"I thought it would work!" Garmadon shouted

"Well, you thought wrong!" Lloyd shouted

Their fighting was cut short as Omega slammed its staff against the ground, over and over again. Other Oni then started clawing their way out of the darkness that appeared.

Two of them instantly grabbed Misty and dragged her out of the room.

"Misty!" Lloyd shouted but he was blocked by the group of Oni.

"Go! Lloyd, you have to find a way out of here you have to stop them!" Misty shouted as she was dragged away.

The Oni then dragged her through the city... Misty didn't know where they were taking her. But she hoped that Lloyd and Garmadon would be able to escape.

Right now her objective was to get away as well. Misty purposely fell to the ground. The oni that were dragging her growled and then gave her a vicious kick in the side.

Misty curled in on herself, But when the Oni pulled its foot back to kick her again. Misty reached out and caught the foot before it struck her. She then channeled her powers and Crystal started creeping up the Oni's leg and said, "Tag your it." Soon the oni was encased in crystal. But the other Oni then let out a screech and tried to bring its weapon down on Misty. She rolled to the side to dodge it. And got back to her feet and said, "Hah, now that there's one of you! It's a fair fight." But then the crystal statues started cracking the Oni inside burst free.

It then swung its weapon and the handle of the weapon slammed into Misty sending her tumbling to the ground. The two oni advanced on her.

Misty scrambled to her feet, Instantly deciding to cut her losses took off running. The Onis started pursuing her. Soon other Oni started popping up from the ground and joined in the chase.

"This isn't how you place freeze tag!" Misty shouted as she continued to run away.

Misty looked up but kept running and saw something bright flying up into the sky. She quickly turned on her com. "And said Pixel! Do you have Lloyd and Garmadon!"

"Y-yes! Are you alright Misty?" Pixel asked before Misty could answer she received a blow to the side of her head and sent her tumbling to the ground. Omega then started rising from the smoke in front of her.

Omega then raised its staff and brought it down on Misty's head sharply, Misty then blacked out.
