1212 : Is it really the end ?

Byeol's pov :
"Brrr it's freezing col-' before i could even finish my sentence, Ni-ki held my palms' ' aish your hand is so cold ! Where are your hand warmers? " grabbing onto my wrist and sliding into the pockets of his thick warm puffer jacket. shooting him a weird look only to be replied with a smile , eyes that flip into crescent moons peeking from behind the clouds.

Pink and purple hues coloured the once plain blue sky as the two sat in a carriage of the big ferris wheel, the two sat in silence.

"Uh-" , "Uh-" the two blurted in unison before laughing. " Woah look at the view " Byeol exclaimed pointing out towards the glass frames as Ni-ki captured that moment with his film camera.

Byeol faced back, nearly kissing Ni-ki as the two giggled. " Ni-ki.." " Mhm ?" he replied, " I've got something to tell you " as Byeol unfolds her hands, palms facing towards Ni-ki wanting him to hold them.

"Honestly Ni-ki, I think I'm in love with you. I've never been so open to someone this much before, it's funny how I used to hate you but now I love you so much that my heart pounds every time we go out together, spending time with each other everyday jamming to music that we freestyle to and acting goofy together. I don't know how long my heart has hurt from constant contemplations on telling you how I've developed feelings for you and now my patience has exploded. I've confessed my love to you Ni-ki." tears welled up in her eyes as a teardrop rolled down her cheek. Ni-ki pulled her into a tight hug as he stroked her back and his lips whispered " I love you ".

A cloud of red swept by her cheeks revealing a red flushed face Byeol who clasped her mouth so tightly as butterflies fluttered vigorously inside her stomach.

The couple both blushed red as the carriage carried them to the top of the ferris wheel. The two love birds came out holding hands as they enjoyed the rest of their night as their first date.

Byeol's pov:
Is this a dream am I dreaming? I've got a boyfriend ohh dear. Ni-ki, my Ni-ki ! We have been dating for 200 days already and today we are going out for a date. The moment back that day I confessed to Ni-ki I vividly remember Keiri smirking at me as if she knew what happened. " Spill " she demanded. " Sooo I told him about how I felt and we held hands and we giggled . You know what couples do. " shyly grinning from ear to ear as I speak. " Aww !" Keiri exclaimed " Tch, now I'm the single pringle here how inconsiderate " she joked.

I met Ni-ki outside the dorm as he slid his fingers around my waist and smiled brightly.

" Remember on the day of our birthday back in when ? the Disneyland one. Remember ?" Ni-ki started before heaving a sigh from the freezing weather as we walked. I nodded in reply. " Boy from Disneyland ! " I turned towards him. I could tell something was off today, Ni-ki wasn't his usual self.

Ni-ki's pov:
A week before their 200 days anniversary.

" Okay everyone. I've gathered you all here to brief you on this upcoming Mnet survival show called 'I-LAND'. I've selected the 23 of y'all as I trust that your potentials have shown that you will be fit for this show. I hope you all are all on board this journey towards your debut. And especially for you to have full focus on this survival show I hope that those of y'all secretly breaking company requirements for love to be resolved if you understand what I mean. That's all. Dismissed. " The manager announced.

What? Breaking up with Byeol.. I can't but I am already in this and that's what I want to do, it's to debut but I can't do this. I will look selfish. I'm such a jerk. I can't , no I won't.

Those plans unfortunately slipped through my fingers. My greed took over me as I planned on how to tell her and break it off.

" I'm brea- ,I CAN'T DO THIS !" I broke down into tears looking at the idiot I am infront of my mirror. This is stupid extremely stupid. ' Who do you want more Ni-ki? A survival show or the love of your life' Byeol, my heart says but my head tells me otherwise. Look at the fool falling for the head instead of his heart.

Byeol's pov:
" Ni-ki ya, are you okay ?" I questioned holding on to his fingers. His gaze avoided mine. I exhaled , lifting up his sulking head for him to face me. " Ni-ki , tell me what's bothering you." I demanded. " Ha.. where should I start, " for some reason a lump started forming within the space of my throat. I watched as his gorgeous eyes filled up with tears.

" Byeol we need to break up. I'm sorry. I can't tell you now the reason why but you'll soon find out. Byeol I love you and I love you the most. I'm a jerk I know but trust me if you think I have lost feelings for you. I haven't , ever since the day my eyes laid on you I have never stopped loving you. I'm sorry and thank you !" Ni-ki confessed.

No it's not that I hate him but I stood there with shock and anger. But Ni-ki I don't blame you , you're not a jerk for wanting your passion over a lover.

Thankyou Ni-ki for all those years and all those fruitful months well spent. In the end I still can't hate you cause.afterall, we left for our own goods. Not having you meant loving you. It was written in the stars that our relationship wasn't meant to last. All that is left is lingering feelings of the bittersweetness that has led us into our demise.

Months after that incident Byeol then found out Ni-ki went to I-LAND. A bittersweet smile flashed as she watch him just like before.
