The next day George wakes up and rolls over to see lily still gone. He remembers what happened the other night and he somewhat feels bad about getting so mad at lily but then again he's still mad at her because she didn't believe him and she was asking so many questions. He goes to take a showers and get dress and goes down stairs to grab some breakfast. He sits on the couch eating and turns on the tv. He thinks about calling lily but he feels that she just needs time to cool off because she's probably still mad at him. But then he puts his first instinct aside and calls her. The phone rings once...twice...three times...no answer. He hangs up and calls her again. Still no answer so he keeps calling and calling and calling until finally she answers.
"What do you want George"
"I want to apologize for the way I acted last night I don't know what got into me my temper is coming back I guess"
"You're temper was never gone it just needed the right thing to set it off"
"Yeah but do you forgive me"
"Sure whatever"
"Lily Im serious"
"And I am too I said sure"
"I want a yes or a no not a crappy "sure whatever""
"Ugh you're so difficult but yes I forgive you"
"Okay that's better now come back home please"
"I'm on my way"
Then they both hang up the phone. About ten minutes later George hears a knock on the door he opens it to see lily standing there in her pajamas with a bag. She walks in puts her stuff down and they hug each other. She then goes to the bathroom to shower since she didn't do so before. She got dressed in a new pair of pajamas because she didn't plan on leaving the house that day and neither did George because they were both dressed comfortably. They lounged around the house all day long. Later on that night George was going out again with Adam.
"I'm going over to Adams I don't know when I'll be back but I should be back soon"
"Okay"
He shut the door behind him and lily continued on with what she was doing. Every night for the next few weeks George was leaving the house and he always said he was going somewhere with Adam or with some of his other friends. At this point lily wanted to know the real reason why George was leaving every night so she called Adam. The phone rang a few times but he ended up picking up the phone.
"Hey lily what's up"
"Hey Adam is George with you"
"No I haven't seen him in a while why"
"Cause he's been going out every night and telling me he was either with you with some of his other friends"
"That's not like him I'll call him and ask him where he's been"
"Okay thank you"
Lily then sits by the phone waiting for Adam to call her back. 5 minutes later the phone rings and she quickly picks it up.
"Hello"
"Hey lily he must've turned his phone off because it went straight to voicemail sorry I could try again later if you want"
"Oh okay thank you"
"No problem"
They both hang up. She falls asleep on the couch waiting for George. She wakes up and it's 9 in the morning and its a special day for her since it's her birthday. She looks at her phone to see if George has called so at this point she pretty much thought he was missing. So before she called the police she went out looking for him. She went down every street and the second time she went back down the streets she saw him leaving another girls house. And when he was out the door the girl pulled him back and kissed him and he kissed he back. She didn't want him to see her so she decided to drive back home before he saw her. On the drive back home all she did was cry she was really hurt at the fact that he would do something like that to her. She was trying to figure out what was wrong with her and what did she do wrong for him to want to cheat on her with another girl and be with that girl every night instead of her. She cried a the way home and she closed the door behind her once she got in and by then she stopped crying. She plopped down and the couch and continued to cry but she wanted to stop crying before George got home. About 20 minutes later she heard the door open and she turns to see George walk in with something behind his back.
