Vanya and Sana are waiting for Dr. Shukla in the cafeteria..

"Yaar Vanya..kya maine kuch galat kiya hai?!"

"Umm.. I don't know! Lekin haan, yeh baat toh sach hai that you are overqualified for such posts!"

"By the way, what's my qualification?"

"Tu ek international NGO mein kam karti thi! And you used to look after the evaluation and monitoring department.."

"Wow! That's amazing!"

"Yes it is! And you have done your masters on humanities and development only! Ab bata, does this suit you?!"

She sighs.."Lekin main kya karun?! I'm too scared! And I can't be away from him! I just simply can't..!"

"There he goes.. agaye!".. Vanya gets to see Sidharth in the entrance..

"Hey Vanya, I'm sorry! Bohot busy tha..so what are you girls upto?"

"Mujhe nehi jana!".. Sana speaks up..😅

"Tumse kisine pucha?"... He looks at her angrily..

"Hadh hai yaar! Baat mere bare mein ho rahi hai! And I am not allowed to speak!"..she complains..

"Haan! Kyunki jab muh kholti ho tou bakwas hi karti ho! So it's better to keep shut!"

He turns back to Vanya..
"What's next? Are you guys going to your cousin's place now?"

"Dr. Shukla, I have to go today. My parents are getting worried. Upar se Kabir called up my dad and complained! So its complicated now! But don't worry, I called Shehnaaz's cousin, as in her Chacha's son. Bichara waise hi bohot pareshan hai post their demise and he is taking a flight back to Delhi today. So he asked me to bring Shehnaaz at any cost..!"

"Hmm..makes sense! Ok take her for now.."

"What?!".. Sana gets up from the chair..!

"Chup chap baitho yahan!"... says Sidharth sternly..

"But she doesn't want to go!".. replies Vanya..

"I don't care what she wants! She will go because I am asking her to go!"

"Main kahi nehi jaungi..mujhe kuch bhi yaad nehi hai.. main udhar jake kya karungi?!"... She is being adamant again..

"Vanya can you give us 5 mins? I need to speak to her..".. Sidharth requests..

"Sure Doctor..! I will also check on the driver..carry on.."

Vanya leaves, giving them the privacy they need..

"Kya problem hai tumhe?!"

"Aap ko kya problem hai?! Why are you hell bent on this?! What do you want?! Woh Kabir aye aur mujhe kidnap karke le jaye?!"

"See this is what I am hating!! You have zero trust on me!"... He is fuming again..

"Nehi jana mujhe Sidharth! Aap k bina I feel helpless! Please understand! I'm scared!"

He sighs, emitting a long deep breath and tries to get a hold on himself and says.."Dekho, you are not only my responsibility, you mean everything to me Sana! I will allow no one in between us! Once I start investing in a relationship, I get territorial! But let's not forget that you had a life back there in Delhi and you have just lost the people who brought you up! Don't be selfish! I'm sure their son needs you the most now!"

"Selfish?! Are you serious?! Mujhe kuch yaad nehi hai tou main aise kaise kisi k leye sympathetic ho jaun?!"

"Hona padega! Because they are your family!"

"Lekin aap toh chahte the ki main yahan phirse admit ho jaun?!"

"Haan! Because I didn't have a choice then, neither I knew that your cousin is counting on you! So, be the kind person you are and go help him out! He is in pain!"

She starts biting her lips, an evident thing she does when she tries to control an outburst! He can tell that from her face only..

"Baba! Relax! Main hoon na?! I will ask my family to ensure your security! I have already spoken to my brother in law! He will take care of this matter!"

"And what about us?!".. she looks at him with tears clogged in her eyes...

"Bharosa hai na mere upar?"

She starts crying..

"Oh God!! Kaise samjhaun main is ladki ko?! Look, kal tak mujhe laga koi nehi hai, but the good news is, you have a brother who is looking for you! I will speak to him and will guide him accordingly! "This hospital has given me you! But koi na, I guess you have changed your mind! Fine! I will go..!"... She gets up and tries crossing his path but he pulls her back to the chair again..

"Don't do this! Please! Think practically! Jaise tum kehti ho, I am your pride, waise I want you to be my pride! Today only Vanya told me how you worked for an international NGO! Pata hai, maine bohot socha, and I could come to this one conclusion only ki aage jake you will regret badly! So pehle get yourself back and then we will sort our thing!"

"Ho gaya aapka? Ab main jaun?! Mujhe bacchon se aur baki sab se bhi milna hai!".. her tears have no bounds..

"Aise nehi, give me a smile first.. Please!".. he pleads..

She stares at him for a good while and walks away without responding to his request..

Sana is strolling down the corridor when he secretly drags her into the storage room.

"Areh! Sidharth! You scared me!"

"Did I?" ..he smirks..

"Kya chahiye aapko?!"..she frowns at him irritatingly..

"Zyada kuch nehi..just a smile baby.."

"You are pushing me to a hell and you want me to smile?!"

"You are going back home! That's where you belong baba!"

"Theek hai..ab jane do mujhe!"

He pulls her to encircle his arms entirely around her waist.."Am I not in pain?! Am I not going to miss you pagal?!"

"Tou phir maat bhejo na!"... she cups his neck..

"Go fix yourself..I want you to accept us in your proper senses! Please!"

"I am scared Sidharth!"

"Don't be! Your safety is my only concern! Now may I get a crushing hug? Please?!"... He pleads..🥺
